Kicked for Running the Full Dungeon—This Needs to Be Addressable

Your goal in a video game shouldn’t be to play the least amount of it possible

Get 80 and you will be heard

Follower dungeons are only available for Dragonflight and TWW , all other expansions require an actual group of people.

The plot twist here is the dungeon was black rock depths most likely  and not gonna lie if that is the case I would kick you too mate.

this is not new content been here a billion times i just want xp. i turn my brain off in TW and zerg as fast as possible i did this when it was retail

People want to blaze through the Timewalking dungeons

I get it. You are leveling up. But we are in the middle of a special event. So, just level up and you’ll be 80 in no time. The dungeons don’t need to be fully completed

IF YOU STILL INSIST

Make some friends who will run the whole dungeon with you

I’ll do it. Add me

No, you were kicked because 3/4 of the players in that group didn’t want you there. If you want to do full clears of dungeons find others who share that desire. Don’t expect 4 random strangers to want what you want.

This isn’t a school’s playground, players don’t have to play with you if they don’t want to. Blizzard isn’t going to force others to play with you and they shouldn’t.

add the fact that the people grinding tw right now have done it many many many times since original release. if i had to a full clear BRD for tw bonus xp i would ditch EVERY single time

Same here. I’ve been asked to skip straight to the end before (because a lot of people actually have the basic social skills to communicate that) and complied. No issues. Other times the group actually had a full discussion as to what we should do.

Of course we can only speak for ourselves, but I have a sneaking suspicion that those people saying you’ll just get kicked without warning are projecting. That’s what they would do, because they’re socially maladjusted to the point they can’t even type a few keystrokes “skip plz.” They just jump straight for the nuclear option.

Using LFG/LFAnything with an automated system is taking a chance that your goals will or not align with strangers.

Kicks happen and seldom feel good but honestly, it’s not a system issue. Adjusting expectations of others to zero alignment of goals is a helpful approach. You can be pleasantly surprised sometimes when everyone is on the same page.

I don’t understand the mentality of skipping mobs and bosses in leveling dungeons. It’s all EXP, and good EXP too.

Had a tank last night in a leveling dungeon go to crazy, literally time-wasting lengths to avoid mobs and of course he skipped optional bosses too. Guess he was in a hurry to kill the mandatory bosses in the next dungeon for EXP to cover for all the EXP he just missed out on by not killing things in the current dungeon. :expressionless:

have you considered that you aren’t the only one clearing that dungeon and you shouldn’t be making decisions on their behalf - takes 3 people to kick you the majority didn’t agree with your decision.

bosses in dungeons should absolutely never spawn until all the trash is cleared leading to that boss. never understood why the heck they make instances where you can just skip 80% of it. its just dumb. lol…full clears or no clears imo.

I’ve had people lvling ask me to skip trash/bosses, as they wanted the bonus xp at the end so they could move on and re-queue.

Haven’t done the math, but I believe if you skip trash, move fast, get the chunk at the end and repeat, it’s faster than slogging through packs of mobs when leveling.
So if you’re about speed, not friendly ambiance and exploring, it’s probably the way to go.

why do people assume no one reads the reason before they vote - half the time I vote no to those when I encounter them which is extremely rarely.

Actually yes, Blizzard themselves explained it when they made the change.

If you weren’t paying attention that’s not Blizzard’s problem now, is it?

talk about throwing out the baby with the bath water - no one wants to be forced to do all trash every dungeon

no i mean i understand people wanna be fast and stuff but it just sucks. they should give some other way to earn that xp at that rate for people who just wanna blow through stuff. im not saying that going fast and leveling up and getting to max should be slower…but inside an instanced event…you shouldnt be able to just not do over half of it and still get rewarded. half the work shouldnt aquire you a big chunky reward at the end. it doesnt make sense.

It isn’t. This stuff happens in an MMORPG and when it does It’s rare.
Deal with it or go play Skyrim.

see thats a huge problem for retention…if you allow everyone to just fly through content and skip half of it all the time players start thinking that its supposed to be easy and rewards are just supposed to instantly be there for doing almost nothing. its good at first but its not a good design for longevity. stuff gets boring instantly and it does things like what this thread was posted for.
