Kicked for low dps - Im doing all the mechanics

Ah yes, because an LFR hero is pushing into mythic… Meanwhile you hide on a level 10 alt.

Aka enrage timers, whether soft or hard. Not every enrage is a boss growing massive while 1 shotting everyone.

You’re the ONLY person soaking mechanics on heroic stone legion and you guys still killed?

This is where I knew this whole thread was a lie.

Okay but they can get some who does the mechanics and does high DPS.

Sounds like a good trade for me.

People are terrible, yes. Watch how many people defend crap behavior though. It’s something I’ve noticed and and time and time again with this game. People are jackasses and others see nothing wrong with it, even defend it, when the community as a whole should be banding together against that sot of incredibly toxic approach. It seems like everyone in this game are a bunch of selfish asses.

Why keep someone who is underperforming?

You can do the mechanics and still do good DPS.

Depends on what “underperforming” is. In most cases it means “not what simcraft says” or some equally ignorant statement, rather than “not enough to beat the encounter”. If you’re doing enough DPS to beat the encounter, that isn’t underperforming.

I mean even if what OP said was 100% true the group still just killed stone legion so I’m assuming they were about to move on to sire which you absolutely need 3.-3.5k dps minimum on.

If everyone else in the raid is doing 4-5k DPS, and OP is doing 2-3k DPS, OP is underperforming.

OP claims their DPS was low because they were following mechanics, but you can’t both do good DPS and follow mechanics, you are a detriment to the group, especially on fights like generals and sire.

Not entirely true… you dont compare your DPS to the raid DPS… you compare your DPS to other people of the same spec.

some specs are just a liability unless you overperform

And OP is one of those liability specs.

Assassination rogue.

Underperforming is not doing the damage that correlates to the gear you have. Just because the boss dies, doesn’t mean you didn’t underperform, you could’ve had other people pulling the weight that he wasn’t.

Then you should work on not making such nonsensical statements, so your progress is reflected in your posts.

Well, thats pretty much what Enrages are. DPS checks also include wether you can push Niklaus fast enough before another add spawn, if you can kill the immunity-add intime, wether you can destroy the shields on commandos from generals fast enough. Not all DPS checks are Enrages.

If everyone had done the same level of damage as the OP, they wouldnt have killed any bosses. He has underperformed.

or they can remove him which drop the boss HP which will help kill the boss. Because he doesn’t even do his share of dps in that run

Well, here’s where your story falls flat.

If you were alive while others were dead…your dps keeps rising while theres falls. If you were still the lowest dps…thats a problem.

The skill cap for a dps player comes from maximizing your dps while ALSO maximizing your ability to do mechanics.

At the end of the day, people with the highest dps at the time the boss dies did mechanics well enough to put out maximum dps, you did not.

Rich coming from a level 10. Go back to the EU forums.

Hence why I said soft or hard. Do you like not read posts or something?

You sure did prove it to me, clearly theres evidence you did all the mechanics in this post. Trust me, I know, I’m a world first raider.

If this is all you got…

Not pushing Niklaus fast enough is not an Enrage, neither soft nor hard. Youre still wrong, you should leave this be and move on.

If you are not pushing him fast enough, you also get increased stacks of the dot, which is the “soft enrage” of the encounter. Sounds like you are the one who needs to

inb4 you say I am wrong again, even though I am technically correct in that the stacking dot is the soft enrage of the fight. Which is why it gets reset when you push a boss to 50% and 0%.

Absolutely. A 225 ilvl geared player with 3-4 minute easy “YOLO” runs will have a higher chance to obtain an orange or higher parse.

That’s like saying a 70 kg weightlifter should outlift a 110 kg weightlifter. (Your ego must be the size of planet Jupiter if you think like this.)

Then again, grey parses on heroic? Definitely is a sign of needed improvement even in progression fights.

Something in OPs story isn’t adding up for me. I feel a key detail is being left out.

But, whatever.

PUG Life sucks.

When I was a serious raider, I joined a guild. I definitely recommend it. Guildies are way more understanding and tolerant of everything.
