Therein lies the issue: people claiming it’s constant use for petty reasons, when others have rarely or never seen this.
Also: no one is defending how it’s used. They’re saying it’s the lesser of two evils.

Kicks like the one that got posted
are the biggest reason I stopped pugging long ago.
I don’t pug M+ either because I can’t leave bigoted groups like that without being penalized.

many, many times. Almost always bigotry was the reason.
They added Delves for solo play thankfully. But this doesn’t excuse the bad behavior people are doing with the vote kicks in group content. They can type in trash that accounts been suspended for and get away with it cause vote kick forms can’t get reported on unless they open a ticket with picture proof of the offense.
So let’s keep the option that does let us kick problematic individual without having to go through hoops or let them get away with a shortened sentence just because a few got kicked “for no reason”.
I saw multiple unneeded kicks go through during the first few weeks of me queuing heroic even though I hit no on each one.
The only correct kick I’ve seen go through was one I initiated on a guy who queued as a tank and then was DPS spec, and proceeded to wipe us several times during Dawnbreaker by overaggroing random packs in the town.
At this point it feels like many players just hit whatever button gets the pop up on their screen off it the fastest rather than considering if it’s needed.

Ran that through two image detectors that both say it’s a modified image. I’m not an expert by any means, but we’ve seen this type of thing before where people will incite a riot by using photoshop.
While I do believe people will put dumb stuff in that reason box on rare occasions, that particular one might be fake.

PVP realms killed themselves because nobody wanted actual PVP, they wanted to grief lowbies an people leveling, that’s why they never use warmode, those would be willing participants. Same reason twinks disapeared the moment they had to fight each other.
Warmode is however great for farming things on low pop servers, gets you your own layer devoid of anybody else.
I’ve been the one player that votes against kicking someone three different times, and the result? The three that are together tried to vote kick me (worked once, failed twice), and the 2 times it failed, they pulled the next boss, then all exited the group. Yes, it gets abused, and no Blizz will never do anything about it. Use follower dungeons whenever you possible can, and try to make your own group if you need a run for a weekly quest or whatever. Not worth wasting time on RDF any longer - it’s a troll fest at this point.
Yeah no option to report it, and no way to report people doing it. Can’t open a ticket, Blizz actions you for opening up a ticket to report someone especially the ones that use discord to coordinate harassment and bypass ignore via friend groups.

You need to contact Discord. Blizzard cannot sanction what happens in Discord.
Incorrect actually, the SFA was proven to be incorrect multiple times. Doesn’t matter much when Blizz selectively enforces rules (Like bringing up a locked/deleted thread as you’ve done multiple times)
Doesn’t matter if they use discord to tell people to bother you in game and Blizzard doesn’t care, despite providing them with that evidence.
SFAs do not give out false information. Simply because you don’t believe them, doesn’t mean the info is incorrect.
If it’s targeted harassment through Discord, it must go through Discord.

They did though, actually. They referenced something that wasn’t even in the ticket and referred to group chat (Which I wasn’t ever in a group with any of the people involved). So now you’re giving out false information about things you don’t understand, back off.
