Kick never gets abused i've been corrected

There is no report on kick forms. They can type the worst hate slurs known to man and get away with it. They can even type in cuss words in it and get away with it.

They literally tell us they dont see kicks. lmao
Ok…then they dont NEED more than 3 kicks per day.

To add, yes…LOG vote kicks…and set a weekly or monthly limit.
IF that account is kicking an abnormal number of times over a month, give a warning…and if it continues, suspend or ban them.

Watch them contradict themselves when they read this post. lmao.
“we dont see kicks”

IF they dont then they shouldnt have any problem with what I said above…if theyre NOT kicking as they claim, then that wouldnt apply to them now would it lol

But the handful of people that were vocal didn’t get a change made. Blizzard makes changes based off of their data. Not some upset people on the forum.

No. That’s a horrible idea.

I’m asking Blizz to address this, yes I know they have the data, which is why hearing from them would be nice.

I’m guessing about numbers dear, obviously.

I’m just trying to calm this situation down with my insignificant tiny voice.

I said there should be a report button, but still can be reportable in theory through ticket since it gives character-server name. GM won’t have trouble hunting them down.

This forum is for discussing the game and our ideas.
NO ONE HERE has AUTHORITY to tell or suggest that you stop if you are obeying the rules.

Explain why then. Afterall it is how M+ currently works, and does boast a large number of active players. M+ does have other issues that have made it less popular this season.

Forums have some data as well, afterall where are patch notes located again?

/highfive

All good, I love everyone here, not trying to ruffe any fur.

I always try and be this voice of reason, it rarely goes well.

I’d make a terrible Paladin IRL.

My general rule of thumb, if the player getting vote-kicked hasn’t been an issue to the team and isn’t afk, then I click no. If they are being a jerk, or are a mile behind, then i click yes. Isn’t that what most players do during a vote kick?

They rarely speak on such things, we all know this.

You can’t calm it down with people like the panda running around. Unfortunate, but I’ve tried. Know what happened? I got screamed at, bullied, harassed, told I’m part of the “kick abusers” and had my Discord (that doesn’t even read these forums anymore) attacked.

I only participate to try to give mostly logic and information— which then also gets attacked.

Just put all the loot at the end of the raid then. See how that goes over.

M+ is an entirely different design. The loot is at the end because there’s a timer. Loot should not be gated by finishing— especially when not everyone can finish or people may have to bail.

No. Forums have upset people. Not data on what actually happens in game.

Blame the community for requiring the system in the first place, they’re the ones that abused the lack of a system to start with.

same.
I use Farmhud. I know exactly where everyone is at. I know if theyre AFK or not.
I can see on Details if theyre AFK or not.
I can see their health bars to know if theyre taking damage they shouldnt be.

And Ive seen a LOT of AFK kicks where that player was NOT even close to being AFK. lol
Total kick abuse.

From my experience and from asking in a few different high pop server chats… yes. Though most of those have said they rarely even see kicks happen.

From the few people here on the forums… no. People are constantly and continually laughing and kicking people for absolutely zero reason and trolling and abusing people.

Now… these incidents of weirdos who think it’s funny to randomly kick for no reason do happen. But I’m pretty confident that it’s rare. Even the OP admitted it’s rare. But for these incidents, they just need to re-implement this that they apparently removed for who know what reason:

Wrath-Logo-Small.png Patch 3.3.5 (2010-06-22): The functionality of the Vote Kick feature in the Dungeon Finder will now behave differently according to a player’s history with the system. Players using the Dungeon Finder who rarely vote to kick players from a group, or rarely abandon groups before a dungeon is complete, will find that the Vote Kick option will have no cooldown. For players who frequently abandon groups or vote to kick other players, the Vote Kick option will be kept on a cooldown. This functionality will adjust itself as a player’s behavior while using the Dungeon Finder changes.

lol. Agreed.
A small percent of people will ALWAYS abuse crap and ruin it for everyone.

all those cool toys with trash CD’s making them pointless because some jokers couldnt be ADULT and annoyed others and so the rest of us have our nice things screwed over because of them.

I say ban the abusive players for life…problem literally solved

Like the singing sunflower. They nerf it cause someone used it to annoy others and they complained and it got nerfed. It’s always the trolls ruining everything for the folks that follow the rules least 95% of the time.

Ive seen racist remarks…bigoted trash…phobic garbage like the one image posted by Doness…stuff that if you said in here would get you AT LEAST 30 days vacation.
Even seen a few suggestions to self harm in the reason box.

but you know…it never happens according to the kick abusers lol

I’ve yet to see any solution given that can’t be abused by the same people you claim are kicking for no reason.

To be honest everything can be abused and exploited. Rather given a license to or not.

Kicking should only be a last resort option in a pug where people are actually trolling or ruining the run. It was added because people would queue in and just go AFK until the dungeon was completed.

It’s now used for the most petty of reasons, and people really should stop defending its overuse.

then you arent paying attention. lol

  • THREE kicks per day. IF you abuse them, then you have none left to abuse
  • Remove or reduce the timeout to reduce the impact on player abused by the kick. This also removes that “held hostage” whine…If a tank WANTS to leave, I dont want him there, so thats NOT an argument
  • any NO vote vetos the kick entirely. If someone is being kicked for no good reason it takes ONE DECENT player to stop it from happening. If the player is behaving badly no one will save them from a kick.
