Key trolling

So, other than the tank nerfs which were pretty last-minute it boils down to make M+ super easy like delves? No thanks. I’d rather see some actual challenge added to delves next season.

Ion is reading this and thinking:
Deplete keys by two levels instead of one
Buff affixes
Buff dungeons
More button bloat
Make timers shorter
Squish more
Nerf tanks further
Nerf healers
Nerf DH
Pat yourself on back good game design

As you know, madness is like gravity: All it takes is a little push

The issue with arguments such as yours is the hypocrisy. You get angry at the suggestion of making m+ easier and instead want to make delves harder, but are more than happy to suggest the reverse.

You do realize that half the point of the existence of delves is to allow the more solo and casual type player a form of end game content with relevant gear progression, right?

If you attack the basic principle that delves were designed upon, then at that point you may as well just delete delves and put the pvp track back in the vault.

I feel like there’s way too many people in this thread who just refuse to accept the fact that some content just wasn’t designed for them?

The only reason why I suggested those m+ changes was because it simply sounds like a lot of m+ runners are just frustrated at how difficult m+ has become and how the toxic environment they often generate is getting to be too much. Half the rage posts about m+ would probably evaporate overnight if blizz deleted the key depletion mechanic.

Only if you also get a 5 day ban for not interrupting, taking avoidable damage, doing less damage than the tank.

Many people seemingly want things to be easier so they can stop playing WOW sooner.

Like people who quit when they hit KSM or KSH, no matter how long it takes.

That one way to put it. The other way is that people are lot more goal oriented when they play wow vs how they used to be back in the early 2000’s. As a result, yes, people want to be able to reach said goal in a more reasonable manner that what is currently being offered by the way m+ works.

Perhaps they want to switch to gearing a new character instead of running on the occasionally toxic treadmill of m+ keys? Data would suggest that is the case given the fact that Ion has repeatedly said that they’ve recognized the playerbase is moving to a more account wide progression system rather than character based.

Relevant gear progression for delves is fine. The issue is that they are far too easy for the level of rewards that are given out. I routinely put fresh level 80s through T8s to fill out most/all of their slots with Hero 1 or Champion 3 pieces because they pose absolutely no threat. If they are going to drop the same level of loot as Mythic 7s or heroic raid encounters, there should be something approaching parity in challenge.

That is only because of leveled up Bran.

Nope. You don’t get to force people to carry you.

But delves are so easy they aren’t even challenging.

I mean, minimal mechanics if any, an AI companion who can output enough damage and healing to do the place on his own, and the lack of any damage or healing checks combine to make them trivial.

come on, we all know if he spelled it out like that instead of dancing around with corpo speak, people would riot. best to just give a kinda sorta “open to interpretation” kinda answer to avoid the backlash as long as possible.

Unless someone joins and leaves when the key starts its not trolling, they left cuz they had a reason

this is bannable, and should be investigated if you are doing this.

You have a 602 IL and haven’t changed a single PC into tier…“too easy” K breh.

There’s a kind of sad youtube video by Venruki made during Shadowlands. He liked to join yolo groups to help nobodies get better. He joined one group run by a paladin who he could see had a lot of potential. But, as a new player whose only interest was PvP, he didn’t know much about the systems in Shadowlands. He was getting conduits and didn’t know what to do with them. So he was capped out. Venruki sat him down and explained to him about picking a covenant, legendaries, etc, etc, etc.

The player quit on the spot. He had no idea what was ahead for him, and when he found out, that wasn’t what he thought he was getting into.

I haven’t even stepped foot in a mythic dungeon this expansion, m+ is trash. What I described is just what the meta was in DF for a lot of people.

Few if any extremely simple mechanics, hero track end-of-delve loot, and they can be routinely cleared with fresh 80s. They are extremely easy compared to M+ 7s&8s, which reward the same level. They are way out of balance in terms of difficulty and reward. I also have done both of the delve Feats of Strength at their highest tiers, but I appreciate you attempting to use ilvl of my posting character as a point against me somehow.

You wanna see “too easy”?

609ilvl, 4 piece. All delve and lfr gear with 1 piece of M+ loot which was a 606 belt lol.

Or how about… My fresh lock.
591, 3x 603 delve pieces and she just hit 80.

Heck my main, she was fully decked 606 in delve gear. I had to run +2-5 range just for score so I could queue into 6’s and 7’s lol.
Delve gear pretty much invalidates sub 6 keys. It’s easier to run bountifuls for 603 pieces. Then if you get a map… super easy 610 piece. Then the vault… lol.

It’s all they got. They just don’t want delves getting touched. Imo they should just bring back the lower 10 of m+ and scale loot further.
The gap would give you something to work towards. Then they can complain all day about how their tier 8 delve gear = a +5 when it used to = a +15 m+ lol.
