Keep getting kicked in gamma dungeons

You’re expecting a RANDOM group finder to provide you with people that meet your arbitrary gear and skill level requirements. It doesn’t work that way.

Those rules from blizzard says you can vote kick for ANY reason.

It is clearly defined in their rules.

Im not saying its a well made rule, but that is the rule, and it doesnt violate the social contract either. You are the one demanding people keep people in their group that the majority of thr group has decided they dont want in their group. So its fine for you to demand your way when the other 4 people in the group decided you shouldnt be there for one reason or another?

Rdf puts you in a group, it does not give you the right to stay in that group.

"Play as a team with your fellow players - whether in dungeons, raids, battlegrounds, arenas, or out questing in the world. Do your best to support your team through your communication and behaviors so that you can all celebrate your success together.

Assist other players that you encounter in the world. Maybe they need some help defeating a tough monster, or maybe they could use a little healing!"

You see the social contact is basically just their CYA to ban for chat, but really it does extend to vote kicking players because you want to speed run dungeons. not that you even think that because you’ve also said anything around 4500 is acceptable too, except when that arbitrary definition falls outside your accepted arbitrary views.

You don’t have the right to say someone isn’t geared enough for Gamma when they meet Blizzard’s requirement for it.

Takes teamwork to vote kick.

I’m doing my part, no?

They keep making up rules.

My Frost DK is like 5106 but because I’m working on replacing my pvp pieces they’d just kick me for “pvp bad”

It’s like, I have my hit cap, I gem up my gear. But they’ll always find an excuse.

Paranoia to prove a point. Good stuff

It’s not paranoia when you keep proving our points.

But the vote to kick system also had a cooldown if used to frequently, did not give the deserter debuff for the kicked player, and a plethora of other restrictions including:

“A vote to kick a member my not be initiated during or for a short time after combat”
“Only two members may be kicked from a group”

There’s also DC protection, on retail there is a vote to kick delay of up to 15 minutes before you can kick someone, and there’s some hidden markers that punish abusers on the back end.

So you’re wrong about it just being open and usable for no reason. Some of us just want the full functionality of the system restored.

It’s paranoia when “210 is too low and cheesing ilvl with PVP is bad” is the baseline (despite that guy acting like there’s always a way to justify kicking someone even if they’re BiS or w/e)

Sounds like if anyone needs to make their own group, it’s the person who is least satisfied with the outcomes of the built-in tools

That’s a lie, we were able to kick 3 players from one AN last night

But i do have the right to say they are not geared enough for my group and leave it to a vote for if the group overall agrees. And if they agree that person is gone and can try again with a different group, or see about fixing whatever reason they were kicked before trying again.

And if they dont get vote kicked and i have such an issue with it, i could chose to leave saud group.

People being able to chose is the entire point of how the vote kick system works. I dont think it is a perfect system, but no sustem is perfect. If you want to never be upset from what another player has done, maybe a single player game is best for you. But in a multiplayet game we all make choices, sometimes you might not like it, but it isnt always YOUR choice to make. Sometimes it me and my fellow group members choice to make.

If 210 was too low, Blizzard would have increased the ilvl requirement to queue for the dungeons yea? It’s not like there is no requirement, there is a requirement in there. It sounds like you disagree with that stance, but you should be taking that up with Blizzard rather than trying to enforce vigilante justice by abusing the kick system. Which let’s be clear here, you aren’t actually doing because you’re just a troll who is making up stories. But if you were doing the things you said you’d be abusing it.

What did you just say.

Also not a right you have if the system works as it’s supposed to. because you’d be put on cooldown for the vote to kick. personally I’d like to see a 2 day ban on dungeon finder for people that do it egregiously, but small indie companies can’t really provide good services to their players.

Aw cancle culture. Enough said.

Of course you’re one of those too.

Nope just having it be in line with other examples of violations of the social contract. If you impact the gameplay of others using public dungeon finder, you should lose access to it temporarily.

it’s not like I said you should get perma banned. But by all means exaggerate and be ridiculous about it when you don’t have a comeback.

Do i need a comeback when you are angry for people following the rules of how rdf vote to kick system works a d the rules blizzard made for it. Again, ANY reason is a valid reason according to blizzards own words to vote to kick.

If you feel people are abusing it and your enjoyment of the game is at risk, use the buddy system. Queue with at least 1 friend, vastly reducing their ability to midlessly vote kick you.

Except since you can’t read it doesn’t. Features of the system designed to prevent abuse are not working in wotlk classic (supposedly). But also it doesn’t mean that’s how it should work either. Because guess what, vote to kick HAS been changed over time with more restrictions because of people like you. And some other games go a step further and take action against people who abuse the system.

Just because Blizzard is too lazy to support their community doesn’t mean it’s acceptable.
