Kaldorei Revenge:How long?

If WoW’s revenue is any indication, WoW is back to a pre-WoD sub status.

They already are, really. With Tyrande’s story breaking away from the Alliance. And Saurfang’s story breaking away from the Horde. it wouldn’t really change much.

He’s a goblin, of course he means a literal lawsuit.

Most Goblin Lawyers are better armed then your average 7th Legionnaire.

Wait, did he actually say that line? I thought it was just a joke.

He was trying to actually sue the Alliance for peace before the attack on Theramore, yes. It’s part of the Blank Scroll…he also headbutts Garrosh Hellscream, making him best faction leader by default.

Clearly, I need to read this story.

And these structures or systems account for liches, sorcerers and bad writing? No, I’m afraid this is nonsense. You’re trying to assert a level of knowledge and authority that neither you or the story possesses.

So I will repeat for you again. Sometimes things work, and sometimes things don’t, usually as the story requires.

Wait…what?

Its a free short story on the WoW website.

Its an alternate timeline, that Gallywix prevented by hiding a scroll, where Garrosh took over the world.

READ EVERY STORY WITH JASTOR GALLYWIX, HE IS SECRETLY THE COOLEST.

The man is yes, a capitalistic monster who pays his body doubles minimum wage, but he’s also bizarrely friendly. Multiple times he tries to physically embrace Garrosh before Theramore, refers to Bloodhoof as ‘friend Baine’ in the most bewildering manner, and bizarrely leads from the front of the line rather then cowering in the back of the fight as you’d expect.

And yes, in an alternate timeline he nearly saves the world. Fighting Garrosh in a massive spider tank protecting a scroll of forbidden knowledge that he believes no one should have power over. Culminating in him ejecting from his seat and physically beating Garrosh up WITH HIS FISTS AND HEAD before a stray bullet catches him in the chest.

Well he doesn’t really. He just goes down fighting. He saved our timeline.

And as I have said from the beginning if that is how the writers wish to go there is little I can do to stop it. However. Ow you are moving goalposts. One fundamental thing I will return to is you are contorting how the Alliance functions and how it’s institutions operate as a way to protagonize the Horde. Which can happen, but just be honest about it.

Oh fine, he goes down fighting…but in my heart, I still have faith the overweight goblin would somehow manage to beat up the orc.

The concept of a Trade Prince is not capitalistic. But that’s off topic.

Incorrect. I’m showing your assertion to be specious. By appealing to “structures” or “institutions” based off of a single case you have essentially not made an argument. Or at least not one that will be taken seriously.

This is a problem when your stated goal is to squat in this thread and show that I’m wrong. Try harder I guess.

Oh, I mean I have cited KT’s withdralws, Tyrande’s removing her forces to Darkshore, Genns decisión to follow suit, and Anduin the lack of political repercussions to illustrate the differences between the alliance and the Horde as how they govern themselves. Further compounding this is shown in BtS and the devs which states the High King does not have the authority to impose going to war among the constituent states. Finally, I have demonstrated how a coalition system requires by in from all its attended parts to actually make war. Shrug sorry its not good enough for your judgement.

Edit: also it was squat to keep challenging you, as you were the first one to try and drive me off.

I want BfA to end with Mekkatorque and Gallywix to combine their mechs into a giant gundam and have a massive Kaiju battle with N’zoth.

Sure, you’ve made a lot of specious assertions on a range of different topics. It’s the reason why I don’t care about your opinion.

But we were discussing this specific specious assertion that KT’s withdralws proves that the “structure” of the Alliance means that another manipulator couldn’t successfully manipulate the current Alliance. Or we would have if this were at all interesting or relevant to the thread.

And I didn’t try to ‘drive you off’ princess. I tried to get you to contribute something worthwhile to the topic. You have opted to go a different route. So be it.

But your topic is part of a wider discussion. Which is how the Alliance and the Horde have distinct differences. You keep asserting that my arguments don’t work, without any answer than the “Writers could write something different.” Which I have acknowledged many a time. However, if we are looking at the game from a watsonian perspective, I am attempting to explain why writing a warmongering Alliance is much harder to accomplish. This is because the institutional structure is different than the Horde, both in how it governs itself as well as how it marshall’s it’s forces. To repeat my point, it is impractical, not impossible. However, to get to that possibility requires significant changes to structure of the Alliance as an institution or significant rewrites to the constituent leaders who govern that system.

Also keep in mind the tracking mechanic allows me to be notified when there are new posts, so no need to be concerned with what I am doing in my off time.

Final note: it’s interesting that you resort to name calling when challenged. I merely pointed out your primary agenda in this entire set up, and your motivations.
