Sadly I’m not BiS, it’s usually caster gear and I’m a hunter
My issue hasn’t been killing the bosses, it’s the loot that drops that prevents me from being BiS. That and I don’t win what does drop as I’m competing vs 3 other hunters for what does drop. And the other physical damage dealers for some of the trinkets, necks, rings, cape, exc.
You guys don’t use loot council?
Dkp, but even if it was loot council you can’t loot countless what doesn’t drop.
We do work together for trying to get people their tier in order to a degree, but while our casters have their teir, hunters haven’t been a top priority, considering T5 is a minor upgrade to BL dungeon set we hunters have mostly been passing on what has dropped for tier, and while I have 3/5 of the peices now it’s not worth changing it out until it’s a 4 set. The other hunters are in a similar condition now.
T6 we will not be letting the other classes that share our tier have priority though. 
Our comp is a bit different from yours. We have 3 arcane mages and only a couple of hunters so there wasn’t much competition for the tier stuff, but the pieces off of KT and Vash went to the mages first.

We use a LC that is based off the list of what items are bis for specs/classes.
For instance this phase mages had prio on tier because they gained the most DPS.
Next phase cursed vision is hunter prio, gonna get my blond fold!
I’ve had bad luck with any LC guild I have been in.
My experience of LC has always been that the inner circle gets all the gear, and everyone else gets leftovers. I’ve been in around 5 LC guilds throughout my wow experience (before personal loot) and it honestly made me just not care about getting loot that much any more. I got used to never having priority on getting gear.
Yeah we basically have no loot drama All the items are very transparent on where they’re going to go like there’s a full list.
It basically goes off the list of how the class leaders on each of the class discords evaluates gear
Since they basically all come together and put a list of where loot should go.
I’m just glad I got my twin blade
Better players are definitely going to be at the front of the line, but if you’re competitive and still not getting loot, I’d look for another guild.

This is a video game. The “fairness” of reallife is irrelevant for this context.
If people want easier content for free loot and target dummy bosses retail has LFR for them.
All players aren’t equal in skill and they shouldn’t expect to be able to do everything other players can do.
Who cares about retail WoW? That’s a completely different game with completely different designs, audience, and philosophies. If people had even remote interest in retail, they’d be playing it right now, and not wasting their time on these forums engaging in some petty epeen exposition.
In fact, going by your tangent, I could ask why are you playing WoW at all if you wanted a “challenge”, last I checked, WoW was widely considered “casual” among MMOs by “hardcore gamers” 15 years ago. Still is.
I fail to see why everyone is crying about the nerfs in the first place when Phase 2 nerfs made it clear that that the current phase content WILL be nerfed when the new phase is added. Blizzard originally intended for T5 content (and all of TBCC) to be tuned for patch 2.4.3, they only implemented the pre-nerf versions because it was requested by the hardcore. Now that the phase is clearly over, they don’t need to keep it in its pre-nerf state.
Now, I can totally understand being annoyed that they nerfed T5 before Phase 3 even began, but everything else in this thread is baseless whinging over something that doesn’t really affect them (they’ve stopped centralizing WoW’s PvE content around the “elite” a loooong time ago – be thankful they threw you a bone and let you (re)experience TBCC pre-nerfed).
If you beat it pre-Nerf, great! If not, well then, now you’ll have a chance to get T5 done.
The constant passive-aggressive gatekeeping in this thread has been ridiculous. The one post comparing video game design to real life’s unfairness was especially egregious. You have a better chance getting Blizz to implement a “heroic raid difficulty” option preserving the pre-nerf state than… whatever nonsensical goal this whole thread is trying to accomplish.
Considering retail has the hardest raiding in basically any MMO (Mythic) I would consider that to be a challenge VS any MMO raiding scene.
Not sure what “casual” means, is it casual to not play 17 hours a day? Or is it casual to not be in the 2% of the population that actually clears mythic raids?
The game was designed with progression in mind, that’s literally how all pve is in almost every MMO, you kill what you can and get upgrades and hopefully those upgrades allow you to push to the next boss next week.
This population isn’t about that tho, they want nerfed bosses before they should be nerfed so they can get their free loot from target dummy style encounters.
As long as attunements are a thing, this is how the game will be. Blizzard has no choice. We don’t have 12 million subs now.
Was that before or after the paid boosts and plethora of changes? It’s hard to keep track of it all.
One change = Change everything because of the precedent? Why couldn’t they change it to be harder instead?
I think Blizz announced the nerfs at the start of P3, there would be a lot less uproar. I know for me that makes the most sense. Let the guilds that got their 10/10 stay ahead of the pack. Let the guilds who were struggling finally get their 10/10 and start preparing for the next phase.
That being said, there is nothing wrong with some guilds behind and some ahead. There’s no reason why everyone has to start on the same playing field every phase.
To me, this goes to show how much TBC is hurting player wise and Blizzard is doing everything it can to stop the bleeding.
My guild did this for AQ40 and Naxx but we moved away from it and but sort of didn’t as now we use That’s My BiS to see who wants what and descided that way.
Has a wishlist of the entire guild so you can view everything at once and it has an overall demigraphic of who wants what from everyone that uses it, you should try it.

Loot has been fair, we have no loot drama.
Infact I don’t even look at what drops at all lol, if I get something they come open trade.
I just got a twinblade 2 weeks ago tho.
