Honestly who cares about old content difficulty. Nerfing SSC/TK with P3 within the next month or so isn’t even the end of world. Ton of hard stuck 8/10 guilds probably had some life injected back into them for the time being which means more people playing the game.
If you want to embrace your uber skills in difficult content and show it off Mythic raiding is waiting for you on retail or compete in a better guild in TBC that clears faster on Day 1 of new content/speed runs. Otherwise its null.
Well, some people literally exist to complain. And they will do so no matter what Blizz does. And Blizz was foolish for ever listening to those types of posters to begin with. The ones screaming, ‘The attunements need to be in their most complex and time consuming form! The raids need to be the most hardcore, difficult state.’ How did that work out? The 1% still complain, and a huge chunk of the other 99% quit because they don’t want to treat WoW as a job. Certainly not a Classic version of the game that’s more about the experience than proving how leet you are.
The issue with what you’re saying is there is people complaining on all sides, so who do you listen too?
You also complain, your complaints only matter to you so there right in your eyes.
That’s how all the people feel who are complaining no matter which side they fall on.
Common sense is a useful tool, and the experience of knowing that listening for 17 to the 1% of loudmouth entitled posters on the forums drives away the mass hordes of players.
Obviously it doesn’t matter what I say. Blizz has been listening to the wrong people since this game was invented. Their choices for TBCC and SoM show they have learned nothing, and will continue to make the wrong choices. So it is what it is.
The people on here voicing their opinions aren’t mad about the nerfs, they are mad at the timing.
It shouldn’t have been changed until after this phase was over. Now you may not agree with that and you are entitled to voice your opinion on it but your opinion doesn’t make you right just like it doesn’t make me right it’s up to the creators of the game to decide how it’s going to play out.
They obviously listen to the players who couldn’t do the content.
But at the same time now you have people on both sides of the spectrum you have players who couldn’t do the content but were excited for progression as they were still trying to clear it and now they’re mad because they can’t do it anymore.
Then you have players who didn’t want it changed until after phase 3 came out like they did with phase one.
Then you have players who want the change because they were stuck on the bosses and they couldn’t kill it.
Nice! But I can’t help but to look even if I don’t need anything from the boss unless someone with method raid tools looks at it and it gets announced in chat.
I play on a big server on my main and can say for sure that the nerfs have put pep in people’s steps. I see way more ads for runs, our secondary team is humming along with new players and people are excited.
The easier raids for me have let us complete both really quickly with the extra free time for us to pvp or hangout.
