Even if you were a 8/10 or 10/10 before this, the nerfs made both raids a joke. My current raid team got Kael down to 15% the night before nerfs and were confident on killing him, but the nerfs pretty much made the fight way too easy. 0 challenge except not falling asleep.
Blizz needs to make their nerfs to TBCC to balanced to 2021 players and not 2007 players. Their first round of nerf talks were more fair and agreeable But Blizz gotta Blizz. They did their usual of “we listened to your criticism, but we dont care.”
I feel bad for the guilds that were close to downing the content before the extreme nerfs, I am glad they gave a warning though.
We ignored eggs. Didn’t have a single phoenix in phase 5 because we killed the one egg that spawned during the p4-p5 transition. His advisors died in about 8 seconds. So unnecessary. You guys would have got a normal kill this week since you got him to 15% and it would have felt much more rewarding am I right?
That’s pretty much what we did as well. His advisors went down so easially (the conflag elf was the bigger hurdle when she and the other advisors rez’d for my team pre-nerf) and so did the pheonixes. They moe so slow that you can easially adjust and just burst KT down as all of our major pumpers.
We never attempted Vashj pre-nerf as we all decided ‘nope, not until we kill KT’ and without major practice besides watching a quick ‘60 sec boss guides’ on youtube, we killed her on our second pull. Yikes.
It’s not that surprising. Most guilds were still 8/10 and there’s the attunement to consider.
You have zero idea just how bad most non raiders are at the game. Things like being enchanted and gemmed correctly aren’t happening. Even one button rotations produce garbage results. These people are terrible.
This month is for them.
Non raiders??
You mean how bad most PLAYERS are.
Nobody enjoys a face roll in yet the entire time spent playing the game is to make the content a face roll.
Hmm.
More gear = easier content.
If the content is too easy, use only blue gear and write back to me.
The encounter was made with our gear levels in mind.
It’s the game dumbing it down for players who want their items handed to them, they don’t want to work towards progression.
Blizz just doesn’t have much choice. The majority of guilds were 8/10 and attunements are a thing. They need to get players in that content.
What is wrong with Gatekeeping? Life isn’t fair, people are going to do things you’ll never experience. Look up Peter Pan syndrome for me.
That’s not the content being difficult, that’s me playing it worse. While it’s fun to mess around with playing left-handed sometimes, I think most people prefer playing their best.
The effect it has, is it ruins the raids and makes it just a tedious chore.
Aren’t the people doing the gatekeeping experiencing Peter Pan syndrome? You don’t want to change the content, you want it to stay the way you want it. You can’t accept change, thus being of childlike mindset in the body of an adult.

What? I’m just saying things die so quick in phase 2 of Vashj that there’s almost no point for classes like rouges to do anything with their combo points.
The fact that KT’s advisors have less than 300k hp when before they had 1M just makes one of if not the hardest part of the fight take no time at all
I don’t really care that BT and Hyjal isn’t out yet and just because I’m critical of the nerfs doesn’t make me elitest and it also doesn’t make me a cry baby. I’d gladly struggle than to faceroll everything purly because it just isn’t challenging.
I was all for the nerfs that were announced
- Can CC whoever gets MC’d on Vashj
- Murloks have less HP
- Less HP on KT weapon phase
That’s all I saw in the way of nerfs to SSC and TK but they did that and more. Solarian is now Baron 2.0, pretty much all trash mobs have had thier HP reduced by 25%+ which is good and Al’ar now goes 1,2,3,4 which again is minor imo.
last week my guild killed KT with only 1 Phoenix, before it was 3-4.
It’s just too easy.
Retaily cry babies did their jobs …

They never specified the KT nerfs that were planned. At the time they were going to do it those would have been appropriate. Waiting longer and doing them right before the holidays and directly before p3 is released. It was appropriate to just put them in their final state
They said that they’d reduce the health on the weapons but i get your point, I can’t remember if they said that they’re only doing that it only might’ve been what they’ve thought of so far.
I just wish that it remained challenging.
WoW isn’t a job, it’s meant to be fun for everyone involved, not just a small subset of the population who wants to gatekeep 16 years old content they cleared 3 months ago and is no longer relevant at this point of the phase.
Are you afraid people might get a chance to catch up to you by having access to gear you’ve had 3 months to farm?
You can easily make the content more challenging by just doing split runs or removing pieces from your gear, the problem is that what you really want isn’t challenging content but to feel superior to people who don’t care about your squawk measuring contest on the logs.

I don’t think you even read my post.
Not really, the people that cannot accept their own failures and demanding the bar be lowered to their “level” are the ones that cannot grow up.
For example, they could change it to be harder and I’d be all for it, while you’d be more likely to scream and cry.
