Then stop being a karen over them doing what is best for their bottom line thus giving you a game to play…
I’d be playing it here or on private servers, what they do financially has no bearing on what I think is best for a video game. Their short-term decisions have always had disastrous results for their products.
Their bottom line is literally what is best for the game. When they stop making money you stop having a game to play. I completely disagree on your “disastrous results” comment too… the game is still profitable and moving along 16 years later… I think they are doing something right.
Quite possibly the worst take I’ve ever seen. Gouging your long term customers for short term gains has been their MO, and it has caused every one of their IPs to decay out of relevancy.
Also not true, private servers provide a similar if not better product.
I’m fine with them doing all this as long as I get to do the unnerfed content for 3+ months or so. These people deserve to play and get some gear, they pay for a sub too.
I got a sister who sucks at games but she tries, growing up I’d play games like Smash hardcore and was ultra competitive and wanted a challenge. She couldn’t deal with the atmosphere or that level of play, eventually I put my ego aside and played easy mode with her and it was fun. Most of all it was fun for her. Right now the nerfed stuff is like that for me, easy and fun to smash bosses.
We’ll get our harder content and these people will get to experience nerfed content before the new stuff drops, they’ll have SSC/TK to play for a while.
One of us has self worth tied up in a 16 year old game and butthurt that some bads can kill something for a month. It isn’t me.
Complaining that you no longer experience a sense of accomplishment for completing a raid after it’s been nerfed like it was originally, with classes and specs that have been theory crafted to the extreme and the strategies optimized to death over the course of the 14yrs it’s been available is such an odd concept to me. Classic is an interactive museum piece. You didn’t see people raging when Bandai released Namco Museum installments because they didn’t make the games more challenging or altered them to satisfy a more recent audience.
I have fun either way although I have more fun when content is engaging. Low effort players bringing the content down for everybody is mundane.
You’re really focused on self worth when nobody has remotely brought it up hence the projection.
What does the the initial release date have anything to do with the game ? Is it more acceptable to tie self worth to new games. Judging by your attitude, it seems that lifestyle is unhealthy… I wouldn’t know

You’ll find more engaging content on Retail where they have mythic raids and is more attuned to a modern audience, the game you seek is there where you don’t need to worry about nerfs as Retail isn’t a 16 year old museum game.
Oh you know full well, no one is fooled
Ok bud, I’m here if you need a friend.
spoiler alert: now people will complain there’s no content.
They all ready were before the nerfs.
‘wHy ArE yoU uPsEt ThAt oThEr PeOpLe cAn do tHe CoNtEnT? yoU’rE aN eLitIsT’
no, we’re upset because it now puts us to sleep and it wasn’t necessary. it’s actually mind boggling to me that it comes as a surprise to you that people like engaging content and don’t want handouts.
you aren’t entitled to free handouts. you simultaneously say it’s ‘too hard’ and that you need the nerfs and also claim that its ‘16 year old figured out content’ - so which is it? Is it easy and figured out, or do you need your hand held?
Imagine your skill ceiling is spreading and not standing in poison…
Yikes.
Just an FYI the cat is only about 7 dps short of a Ravager, the other stuff tho he deserves to be benched
Obviously the skill floor and ceiling must touch so it’s fair to everyone.
Yea.
God forbid raid progression be a thing.
if by that you mean gdkp you’re wrong I saw wayy more this week, I even got some tier for my lock for dirty cheap
haha i know man. The first time you do it it’s like a WTF moment. The adds die in like 5-10 seconds. It’s pretty hilarious. I mean trash in heroics last longer.
Just did Kael for the first time since the nerf… it does seem a bit too much, advisors were dying before we could get them into the right position
