I don’t see how that relates to what I said, just telling you what the leveling campaign ended on lol
I mean Ysera being connected to the Queen doesn’t mean the elves are being revived.
Uh, Ysera even said they were staying here.)
Yes, because the plot hasn’t developed lmao
I’ll bookmark this and quote tweet you in a year or two if you so desire
No but the plot demands it imo, but We’ll See™
“See! I’ve moved on!”
“…is she looking?”
I’ll take a thousand “bringing people back from the dead” over a “bring in their alternate timeline clone”.
Counterpoint, they need to be brought back BECAUSE Blizz killed them senselessly.
Yeah if WoW Universe has Genderbent AU Warrior Thrall then WoW Universe can Mass Rez the dead of Teldrassil and a major character or two.
Yeah um…no, the San’layn were already cool without that loser.
Isn’t he in Revendreth because he is an unrepentant prick that refuses to admit how badly he screwed his people over? Why would they want him back after learning about this?
- Blood Queen Lanathel in the Quel’delar questline still refers to Kael’thas as “my prince”, i.e. she still identifies, on some level, as a Blood Elf.
- Velonara in 8.3 epilogue gossip text self identifies as a “Sin’dorei” and a Forsaken, both.
- The point of Revendreth is to be rid of your sin.
- As I stated in my earlier post, I think it’s probably that once Prince Renathal ascends to be Sire Renathal, the Venthyr will need a new “Prince” to wield the Medallion of Dominion (whose duty is to make sure the other Harvesters don’t become corrupt), and who better than a sinless Prince Kael’thas to be Prince of the Venthyr?
Yeah and it seems he has been stuck there for a long time, because he won’t change.
That’s why we save him in Castle Nathria and the subsequent questline where with the Accuser we help her force him to admit he messed up
The Accuser killed her daughter because someone paid her to do it, and her Inquisitors (second in command of the Cathedral Ward) both destroyed entire WORLDS (plural!)
Kae’thas only tried to, and only did it to “save his people” a la Kiljaeden! He failed at destroying the world!
If the Inquisitors of the Cathedral World can destroy multiple wards and be leadership of the Venthyr, so can Kael’thas.
Kael’thas joined Illidan to “save his people”, he then joined Kil’jaeden just for more power, he betrayed his people first, screwed them over with false promises, and treachery, and then tried to feed Azeroth to the Legion by allowing Kil’jaeden to come through the Sunwell, starting with his own people.
They may recognize him as “my Prince” or whatever, but that doesn’t mean they would forgive him and want him back. Hell even the San’layn would probably hold a grudge against him for leading them into that initial situation to begin with.
Why would you claim someone as 1) yours and 2) your ruler if you don’t forgive them and wish circumstances were different?
Habit, chosen and known title, sarcasm, etc…and just because a few mentally unstable undead may refer to him as that, doesn’t mean the whole population of Quel’thalas would want him back given how he screwed them over.
Because the San’layn are a bunch of unrepentant pricks that refuse to admit how badly they screwed their people over.
Even more reason to have them all go to Revendreth aka Purgatory and be purged of sin
That’s the point of Revendreth
To make the unrepentant repent, as long as it takes
Vampire Prince Kael with Vampire Consort Royal Lanathel
and if Blood Elves or Undead maybe get Forsaken High/Blood Elf customization because of it who am I to judge
Souns boring.
Undeath please!
I was referring to the Blood Elves as a whole, besides isn’t Kael’thas one of the biggest reasons why the San’layn are in their situation to begin with?
Besides the San’layn didn’t ask to be turned against their people, Kael’thas, the opposite, he willingly chose his fate.
IKR?
NO. Because if these characters get brought back, they’re only going to be trashed even further.
Let. Them. Rest.
If they don’t come back, then they’re trashed forever! That’s not rest!
