What about people who can play longer? Someone who can play for 8 hours a day is going to out-compete someone who can only play for an hour a day. Should we restrict playtime as well?
Good news! Timegating does that already!
Yeah I agree with nearly everything you say.
However, even with alts idunno if it is necessary with how fast you can get m+ ready these days. My 120 boosted priest healed a level 2 mythic with a ton of time left on the clock and is already 398 ilvl even though I only played one session. I donāt think I have it in me to get pathfinder, but I went on to do the same gearing for a rogue. As long as you take advantage of the right catchup mechanics at the right time, gearing is so fast, and then your alt is pretty much ready to push real content. No flying ever needed imo.
I do like the idea of just locking flying till end of last raid, then opening it up and giving a feat of strength to those that chose to earn pathfinder 1 and 2. Thatās a healthy compromise imo, because by that time the expansion has run its course.
Because you know that an OP trash-skipping button would be bad for the game, but youād use it anyway, just like everyone else. Itās the same with flying.
Your opinion is basically get rid of flying with no consideration to those that enjoy flying. Very hypocritical if you ask me.
No? Thatās casual logic. Let me spin it in reverse for you: They should buff my stats relative to how little I play compared to other players. The less you play, the more percentage increase to stats you get. If youāre the most casual player in the game, everything does 200% damage and healing. Pretty fun right?
I personally donāt care if others fly around while I sometimes ride my ground mount to explore. Pathfinder as itās implemented I think itās too punishing and long and needs to be eased for old expansions.
They need to make it so that once you get the meta achievement for completing the new expansion zones then boom, go get flying.
Being part of his conversation is being part of the conversation.
As I said, if you donāt like how someone responds, then simply back out and say goodbye. Donāt slander them.
Itās not hypocritical at all, itās kinda like, if they removed cigarettes from the real world and didnāt offer a replacement, people would be upset, but it would be for the best.
The main problem is you think that your outrage means you are entitled to blizzard taking action on your behalf. Thatās just not the way of the world.
Iām voicing my opinion on the matter. You say I donāt consider the other side and you prove post after post you donāt consider the other side either. Just like you wonāt continue to use a ground mount when flying is available. Such hypocrisy all around.
I understand that. Thatās why I said I wish it was more organic to acquire rather than waiting it out.
Iām playing almost exclusively classic and my epic mount isnāt gated behind a phase. Iāll ding 60 with about 300g and Ill have to grind out the rest through playing.
Bypasses WHAT???
If being able to do things at a faster rate is bad, then being able to play longer is also bad. Otherwise youāre just using the claim of āfairnessā to prop up your argument without actually caring about fairness.
None of this has anything to do with what I said. Itās not even the opposite of what I said.
Most of the anti-flying crowd is pvpers and Blizzard now has the perfect vehicle in warmode to deal with itā¦ simply turn it off if youāre in warmodeā¦ simpleā¦ Quite honestly if they canāt do that, then their reasoning for why they did this is complete and utter bull crapā¦ but we knew that the reasoning was utter bull crap from the beginning.
Your perspective is very shallow and easy to understand though. The amount of consideration I have to offer is this much: I understand that flying mounts are fun, I understand that you want them right when you reach 120 or with very little effort, I understand you are bummed out. What else can I offer for consideration to you? It doesnāt seem like the most complex position I am facing here. This is your chance though. If Iām missing out on anything, if I donāt fully understand where you are coming from, let me know.
Those trash mobs you were going to run past anyway.
Terrain, mobs, players, traveltime, etc.
Cigarettes are objectively bad for you. Or are you trying to conflate flying with lung cancer? Because thatās a pretty big stretch.
Hahahahaā¦ World first.
Conceptually more people would care about it and pay attention to it. I used to know the names of teams doing this stuff a few years ago, now I just donāt care.
Iām saying that flying mounts are bad for azeroth.
edit: objectively so too. Itās not a subjective argument when you actually consider the points being made, something your side refuses to do though.
