Just Let Everyone Get The Mage Tower Appearances

Again, make it scalable so it’s just as hard. You caling is just that right? like amke it just so it’s just as even as hard spite of new things (which Im sure you know you wouldnt be able to use and you’re being willfully ignorant). any other brilliant ideas opposing this obvious good proposal?

Doing the bear scenario made me the angriest I’ve ever been. It was the hardest thing I did while undergeared. If people just… “get this” without having to try, that’s honestly so frustrating.

nobody is asking them to be cheapened, dont add flavor things to support your antique mindset. Again, if you dont know what scaling means, please dont talk about player power or anyhting related again, tyvm.

Lol I know, I remember the pain lol. And also for the cat, I didn’t have the Luffas so the aoe requirements were particularly difficult for me at the time. I think it took me 200 tries or something like that.

Scaling usually means things just “hit harder” and does nothing to make you use your abilities/class set. Again, I’m in favor of alternative colors.

You see? you’re just whining now haha. Nobody said it should be easy, everyone is saying it should be scaled. Stop crying and start sharing, you’re very old for that.

Your entitlement is real lol.

Because it requires rating to get.

It should be opened up if Blizzard can somehow activate a solo-timewalking version of Mage tower that scales your character all the way back to a Legion character with the same stats/talents/abilities so it is just as challenging as it was. That would be the only way to make it fair. Otherwise, it is indeed a sad exclusivity relic.

Right, my cat didn’t have the same talents back then.

I don’t have a problem with new appearances being made available - you know, we could use more of them - but I don’t think MT is doable in a way that would be fair to those of us that earned it back then.

That’s a hot take. I’m… whining? About wanting people to work for something? Blizzard scaling does not ever feel true to how anything was in the past.

Just stick a new slab of paint on them and people can look like a werebear or use the mace thing and others can still call you a casual and showcase their elitism.

It’s a win-win for everyone.

Nobody has to work for green fire. I got the Affliction appearance from Mage Tower. Other people being able to earn cool things does not lessen any of my accomplishments.

The concept of players who came after an expansion, or wasn’t playing a class during the expansion getting a cosmetic being unfair is ridiculous lol.

I’m not saying people can’t earn it. Let’s take Grim Batol, for example. You can walk in and just breeze through. There’s ZERO difficulty in the scaling of it now.

I’m sorry, but things that were an achievement based on the difficulty shouldn’t just be given out because we all know they won’t scale it well. If they can MIRROR how our class played in Legion, sure.

I’m still saying people should be able to earn the skins/mogs, but DIFFERENT COLORATIONS. Not the exact same ones.

That’s your view. Fair enough. It’s not everybody’s view and I dare say they start devaluing achievements (everybody gets an armored hippo mount) it would create quite a bit of bad feelings for many others that did work for certain accomplishments when they were relevant. Because if you’re going to devalue the MT achievements - where does it end. Just MT gets devalued or do we start down a path of devaluing all achievements?

This is not a reasonable approach.

I agree but there should be three types of acquiring appearances:

  1. Earned in game within set time limits: earner can see the appearance and everyone can see it as normal.

  2. Earned outside of time-limits: earner can see the appearance displayed as normal; but everyone else sees the appearance with a clock logo added to each piece - this would apply to mounts too.

  3. Purchased appearance from store, including mounts: purchaser sees them as normal, but to everyone else, the purchaser is only wearing a loin-cloth with a $ sign on it or riding a dollar sign.

“Hi, I wasn’t raiding during the trial of the grand crusader, but I demand to be able to earn this mount.” That’s how this sounds. No one deserves this same thing lol.

Who ever thinks people should get it or have it because they didnt play should quit this game and never again talk to human person due to their entitlement.

See how that works?

It is ridiculous that people are whining for it. I was here, I did do it. People who weren’t or didn’t - too bad. I didn’t get a lot of achievements others got when they were relevant, I’m not going to be a pouty child and demand I get it too. Doesn’t work that way.

that is the blizzard devs who thought that - good luck convincing them they should all quit the game and never talk to anyone.

it is just cosmetics ffs, people will manage to live without them fine. No one is asking you to give up your first born.
