Meh, I don’t see it as that big a deal tbh. The rest of the weapons are just plain mogs. But werebear and glitter cat, are definitely bigger than that. To each his own though.
They did that with the mount I linked.
This is a video game, first and foremost, it should feel good to get a sense of pride and accomplishment from playing it (don’t sue EA), but at the end of the day it is still a video game. It is meant to be fun. All of your effort in this game disappears once you log off. Not saying you shouldn’t put in effort, but I do not understand the mentality of gatekeeping people from cosmetic appearances.
I stated this in another thread, but Asmongold said in a video that World of Warcraft provided him with a sense of accomplishment in his life.
I just don’t think them adding back different recolors of the unique models will destroy your accomplishment. And if you do feel really upset about them adding back appearances in a video game so that others may enjoy them. (Not yours… different ones). I’d point those folks to Blizzards own loading screen tips.

The mage tower appearances were a big deal - I paid for the game then, I played it, it took me many many tries to get my cat and bear appearances - to this day it’s one of the things I’m most proud of. I got them when I had less than ideal gear and the wrong legendaries - I feel like if suddenly that was opened up to players who come much much later and missed out - isn’t fair to those of us that were here, back then.
They’re lovely appearances, I get they’re desirable - but it’s not fair to suddenly open it up to placate a group of have-nots. And we’re talking 2 appearances for bear out of several options still available and 4 for cats out of tons of options. It’s not like you’re being hard done by.

So…
Would you be fine with them adding a new bear appearance, for a limited time, on the in-game shop for say $25 a pop? Everyone has access to get them. And it may be only two appearances out of the several options for bears.
They did that with the helmet transmogs way back when (which they need to add back because they said they may come back!). But this would be ok?

they could add in different color skins, so that way the OG skins stay the way they are and everyone can obtain the new skins. kind of like the ZA bear mount

I’d simply agree with ways to get new appearances for druids.

So like the shop? That’d be a new way of getting appearances. They’ve done it for transmog and the bear appearances are like transmog in a way.
Why wouldnt you let new people work for them too? The only difference between you and new people is that they couldnt get even a chance at that, if you dont think that’s just unfair and unfun sounds like a you problem.

Let them get new appearances that are similar. Maybe different colors of the same things.
People don’t just deserve a handout. Even if they did the content today, it’d be different than struggling through some of the hardest content in the game when it was released.
I don’t have any of them on my favorite character. I don’t deserve them because I didn’t participate when it was active. Our abilities and player power are all vastly different now.

I already answered you on this - no for the shop. That’s not earned, that’s just purchased and no, I don’t agree with it. If they sold it that would cheapen it unbelievably.
New ways to earn new skins in game - that’s obviously totally above board and I support it wholeheartedly - for example, getting xxx achievement in Torghast can net you a cool looking metal bear form.

They didn’t remove my green fire so I’m a little jaded. As long as it’s as hard to get as when it was current content then they should bring back the ability to unlock them.
Ok so make it scaled to what we can do now. Any other excuses to keep your unicorn “I’m special” mindset?

It’s not a scaling issue. If blizzard makes it accurate and true to how abilities/player power were back when it was active, that’s fine. But as it stands now, people could equip ridiculous gear/azerite pieces/OP pieces, and just blast through.

Well why can’t I get certain mounts and titles no longer available? I wasn’t around - I understand that people worked for it when it was around and earned it. I might wish for it quietly, but I’d never demand it be opened up and cheapened because I missed out.
You’d have to go back in time literally to the talents / player power / available gear at that time and how cats played for it to be fair. It’s unfair to me, and all others like me, to devalue that particular achievement because its so coveted.
I feel they should implement more forms, and more ways in game to earn them, but some things are sacrosanct, like hard won player achievements from glory days passed.
