There’s nothing spamming about pointing out the material gameplay systems contribute to toxic mentality of the video game, and that Mage Tower is a key example of Blizzard promoting a logic of exclusivity on the logic of “when someone overcame a challenge” rather than overcoming the challenge itself, and the constant discarding of celebrated systems is incoherent design that together promotes sunk cost fallacy arguments and makes the game unappealing to a new player, which the game can’t afford to do given the ongoing hemorrhaging of players for many reasons

Still have yet to see how it diminishes others accomplishments if they have to overcome a challenge to earn it just like they did.
The irony in this is astounding. The only selfish people I’ve seen are those asking for other people to not have access to the thing they want. I don’t know what is more selfish than that.

Many people obtained the mage tower appearances because they overcame the challenge.
Your self worth and happiness should not be tied to when you overcame the challenge, but that you overcame the challenge, same as others.
Thus making the game more accessible to new players
