I am speaking about adding new colors of that model not tied to the tower. You know, like they reuse models all the time for weapons and such.
So weâve gone from, donât add back the tower that was my accomplishment, now to⊠donât add new colors to new model?
Remember the AQ mount for scarab lord? One of the most exclusive time limited things in World of Warcraft?
They added that back as a new color.
Remember the big blizzard bear?
Doesnât this new mount share the same âbearâ appearance? Sure itâs not as decked out, but itâs still a bear.
Iâm asking them to add recolors, which they have done time and time again with âexclusive contentâ. Your grey werebear, thatâs exclusive. The blue one though? Everyone can get. You can still be super special or whatever it is you hope to achieve.

but a whole bunch of people already did that content for those rewards - that wouldnât be giving those people content.

I never support one playerâs âvalueâ if it comes at the expense of anotherâs.
The argument of exclusivity has no meaning to me, and this is someone who acquired all the appearances on characters I wanted them. If it was around still, Iâd probably round out the collection, but itâs not a huge deal to me, personally.
It does suck that my friend who plays a druid just got back into the game and will never be able to acquire those forms or anything like them.

It didnât come at another playerâs expense. Did the other player have to give something up during legion so somebody got their tower appearance? What did they give up? Nothing. They either werenât around then or didnât bother to do it when it was available.
One the cornerstones of this game is exclusivity. Like it or not. Your friend still has several druid appearances to go for, just not that one. Faithful players who played then and did the work have earned the exclusivity. That may mean nothing to you, but it means a lot to a lot of people.

then you shouldnât support this change becomes some people value exclusivity and they levelled up characters and made the effort to do this all in legion. So allowing people to have this now would be at the expense of them.
Very exclusive of Blizzard to add a recolor of the scarab lord mount. People will be happy with a recolor, which blizzard has done numerous times.

so we are going to reward the people who didnât play instead of those that did - not a way I would run a business personally.
and I already said recolors were fine just not wasting time on redoing that mage tower.

Do I have access to that mount? No I donât. Know why? Because I wasnât here when that raid was relevant. Shall I now whine for it like a child? No I donât think so, instead, I am able to feel good for others that were here, did do it and have earned it.
As for new colours - Iâm all for new appearances for druids - but sorry the werebear / sparkly cat are off the menu. Thatâs the way it works. Get over it.

The way Blizzard is currently running their business is I can go, right now, and buy anything current. If I wanted to, I can make a level 1 character, purchase a boost to level 50. Get a boosting group to take me to level 60 and then pay them even more to get me key storm master, gladiator and cutting edge.
Sad to say, but this is what the game has become because itâs making blizzard lots and lots of money from token sales.

No, itâs not.
whatâs the value of exclusivity? is it worth whatever you think itâs worth for? I would totally say not at all. Opportunity/chance exclusivity means nothing compared to an actual difficulty achievement. Might as well get a title (ex: âa big special boomerâ) for people that already had those items so they can keep being âexclusiveâ in their heads, and problem solved.

Saying something doesnât make it true. Exclusivity has never been a âcornerstoneâ of this game. Thatâs such a silly thing to say, lol.
It certainly does. Your value in this object comes from the unobtainability of it. It only means something to you because nobody else can get it anymore.
Your value is at the expense of other players. I apologize if this is a difficult concept to understand.

Did you not see the post where I put a WoWhead link of them recoloring the most sought after mount model in the entire history of the game? To make sure others understand the gravity of thatâŠ
WoWhead has 29% of all their linked profiles having achieved the mage tower achievement. They have 0% of all their linked profiles achieving Scarab Lord. Scarab Lord is the most coveted thing in this history of this game because it was time consuming and hard. Mage tower pales in comparison to it.
So for Blizzard to add a recolor of the scarab lord mount⊠adding any recolor to any model in the game for anything should be on the table. They just shattered their âtenetâ of exclusivity.
