This is a flaw that needs to be improved. We have paid them enough, we should absolutely be able to access pre-cataclysm zones by now. The fact that we can’t only makes my cursor drift closer to the Cancel button.
That doesn’t mean they didn’t have a chance. They chose not to play. Everyone alive and physically capable of playing the game, had the same opportunity as those of us that did them.
People treating Mage Tower weapons with the same kind of reverence as Scarab Lord is blowing my mind. It feels like Legion just came out yesterday. I’m not old dammit
No hahaha. some people didnt even know what WoW was, what do you mean? you’re delusional haha.
You keep saying that, but the challenge can fundamentally be preserved. Or be made even more difficult with modern mechanics. The latter might take some tweaking, but the layout’s all there. It’d provide another avenue for content for the folks that weren’t around for it, and a potential… what’s that word? I can’t think of it, but a unique characteristic to something like Legion Timewalking.
Overall, I think the content it’d provide for players that weren’t around then is worth the slight sourpusses some of my fellow artifact-bearers would wear for a minute.
LOL how? The zones were completely redone and all the quests were removed.
I guess you should cancel.
I’d like to see the Mage Tower brought back, but have it scale up to current expansion raid levels.
This reminded me a lot of the episode of the office where they print Angela’s poster as a shirt for Oscar to wear so that she can see it but he can’t.
Seems practical, right?
Because the Scarab Lord is a low-res bug mount and “Mage Tower” is a code word for “freakin’ WEREBEAR form!”
Love how cultivate artificial exclusivity. Was edited from blizzard lying to us.
Or how about we get a new Mage Tower instead of trying to hack together old content that’s no longer relevant to the current specs and would probably be a balancing mess.
No, I should demand more and better work from Blizzard, and that’s precisely what I’m doing.
Blizzard, stop failing.
Let them be my guy. They don’t wanna lose that scrap of “exclusivity” because it’s all they hold dear in this god forsaken game and prefer it to rot and die that instead providing reasons to play to other people.
WoW in a nutshell.
I completed the Mage Tower for the Ashbringer skin, and I did so because it was FOMO in giant neon during Legion. I rarely use the skins today.
But…I also did that for the Mythic +15 tint of the Balance of Power skin which we were ALSO told was going away at the end of Legion, only for them to go back on that assertion and let people earn it after Legion.
I don’t care if someone gets the Mage Tower skins now. People who bluster about “should’ve played then” and pop all that static have some weird idea of “muh status” in a video game and should be ignored. Scale it down to Legion item level, disable special items save for Legion legendaries, and let players have at it.
Nothing should be removed from this game. Ever. They should put old Naxxramas back in, too, because we know they have the data to do it. That would send so many “But muh Corrupted Ashbringer is the only one on my server!” and “But I spent millions of gold for Tier 3 on BMAH!” people into a frothing fury. And I don’t care. Make it all 1% drops. Whatever.
What keeps people playing this game is not raiding or “pushing keys” or PvP. It’s collecting stuff. Let them collect all the stuff.
They still had the same chance, as they were alive. The fact is, the MT were not restricted to anyone, others just chose to either play other games, do other things, and not knowing wow existed…isn’t an exception. It was still there. I didn’t know about WoW before WotLK but can’t get all the mog taken out before it…thats life.
Your Corruptionn knows no bounds.
Can someone explain to me how your achievement would be lessened by recolors?
You get to keep your exclusive colors, others just get access to the models.
you are really lacking in common sense here. If I did the cloak and the ring on my characters already then I should be allowed to do those quests on any alt I make. That is how it should be but the company goes ham fist stupid and does the complete opposite which makes no sense.
It’d take minimal effort to rebalance/redesign existing content than create something entirely new. Not that I’m opposed to something entirely new either.
