Nothing against selling runs as long as the items themselves are not specifically sold. Without masterloot it would be hard to enforce that items werent sold and the person won on a need roll.
I enjoy my account so I personally wont be tempting blizzards, new & fantastic totally-not-automated detection and challenge this distinction.
Gold will be exchanged for the clear and items will be obtained, I’ll allow you to be the one to argue the detail on that one with 3 layers of auto responses and a friendly indian gentleman, not me
Then don’t raid if it’s really such a big deal for you…
Somehow the people who don’t run gdkps are doing just fine
Ever since the game came out in 2004 in fact people have done raids without gdkps
Idk why you cant cope
You act like a child who just lost his favorite pacifier
Grow up
What? Almost every single guild I have seen does open roster raid sign ups for this phase and probably will until 60 or larger raids.
You sound more self-defeating more than anything.
I don’t know when I will be online, when I do get online I want to raid immediately.
Can you explain how open rosters in a guild will help this?
It won’t considering you just admitted you only play to play the second you want. Even if you don’t know when you’re gonna play you could literally still sign up.
Your behavior is the limiting factor, not your time.
Watching all these GDKP tears is like watching the screaming child at a restaurant running around finally hit his head on a table and start crying. Brings me great joy
My behaviour? You mean my work and life demands?
What is the difference between that and my ‘time’ availability?
I’m genuinely confused at your random attack on this point, like you know my gaming availability and suitability better than I do. What an audacious idiot, stunning really.
So you want to be able to logon at anytime and immediately have 9 people in the perfect composition ready to go on a moments notice? What GDKP are you joining that doesnt have set times?
doesn’t bother me if people Go to or operate GDKP’s.
Gdkps is only a symptom of RMT and not the cause. If you wanna fight the cause of RMT ban bots, gold sellers and fix market scarcity on most Consumables, and add meaningful gold sinks.

I’m sure people will keep invite you back if you do that
well of course you just dont outright leave, you say something like “Wife aggro” " baby just woke up." " Something something kids." and these pugs will eat that up and invite you back next time, Then they’ll forget about you two weeks later.

Nothing against selling runs as long as the items themselves are not specifically sold. Without masterloot it would be hard to enforce that items werent sold and the person won on a need roll.
Your HIM, MR. HIMOTHY.

So you want to be able to logon at anytime and immediately have 9 people in the perfect composition ready to go on a moments notice? What GDKP are you joining that doesnt have set times?
its perfectly possible to do that with healthy server pops. its not like were playing on a server with 2k players.
PUG runs from LFG or pop-ups in discords, if there is nothing suitable and I have time (and the patience) i will form my own. This is made worse by the fact I live 4-5 hours behind my server time.
Again I am not sure why i need to explain my gaming schedule demands to random strangers, why is it so difficult to accept that I can’t commit to a guild raiding schedule when i say that I can’t?
For classic vanilla → TBC i was a GM/RL and part of the server GM community, I am very well aware of the kind of expectations from most guilds, and I cannot meet them.
Right, so I was trying to understand what GDKP has to do with your situation. If I misunderstood the conversation I apologize.

I don’t know when I will be online, when I do get online I want to raid immediately
While we are making unreasonable demands, I would like $10 million dollars and an island in the Bahamas, a medium sized island will fine.

Can you explain how open rosters in a guild will help this?
I don’t think any guild or raid system helps with entitlement, sorry.

My behaviour? You mean my work and life demands?
lol “demands”
To sum up your post I’ll just quote you:

What an audacious idiot, stunning really.
Cheers!

I was trying to understand what GDKP has to do with your situation.
It’s ok, there has been a lot of noise here.
I mentioned it because, for me, GDKP was a great loot system for these PUGs.
People respond with ‘durr just get a guild bro!’, to which I respond, I cannot due to my unreliable schedule.

While we are making unreasonable demands
What part of that is unreasonable? This is how I and many others have been playing classic for years now. It’s very easy to quickly form PUG content and the scene is very healthy. In particular, the GDKP scene.
What is the problem ?

lol “demands”
What part do you not understand or believe about this? I will be happy to elaborate for you.

and raiding is about teamwork in the first place.
Most raids are 7 grey parsing Andy’s and 3 over performing players. What teamwork?
Thats fair, so you are saying that GDKP worked well since you couldnt join a guild.
Pugs give no sense of progress towards a goal(such as gearing your character) since past runs have no impact on your future runs/ability to get loot.
However GDKP allowed you to join random pugs and still make progress on your character since you gained the function equivalent of “guild agnostic DKP” when doing those runs.
Makes sense now.
If you dont have time to raid you 100% dont have the time to get the amount of gold needed to buy gear in GDKP. Cool you have a busy life and cant raid anymore. You dont get to just buy gold or leech off other peoples RMT gold to keep playing the game the way you think you deserve. Sorry you cant meet the demands of the game anymore.
