Just Got Kicked For No Reason Whatsoever

Never had a problem with this and I’ve been playing my hunter (this guy) since 2009-2010 at the earliest.

I get the point but I doubt ‘most’
Ive not had any issue being kicked on my hunters…in fact Ive gotten thanked by tanks and healers for saving us from being wiped with my pet taking heat off the tank long enough for a struggling healer to get him charged up a bit.

MOST of the ‘huntard’ crap I see is on this forum…not in game lol

There is a cooldown already for people who VTK too frequently or leave groups frequently

Hunter’s pets could tank in the past, but now pets are like tissue paper.

I’ve seen stuff said about every class at this point.

My spirit beast holds its own in a pinch if my party’s tank is not up to the task. You just have to really be on top of the healing with Mend Pet. Sometimes there is no room for error.

right…so thats literally NOT what Im talking about :+1:

You want a cooldown on your ability to be kicked? Because no one should be stuck with you if they don’t have to be.

Im not having any trouble keeping mine alive.
I HAVE noticed when I heal that hunters ARE lazy and dont use their pets heal and will let them die waiting on the healer. lol.
I dont heal pets…period. lol.
If the hunter wants his pet alive, he’ll use his heal. its not gonna kill his DPS unless hes a bad hunter player

This is EXACTLY what I said and suggested.
Nothing has changed since I posted it :+1:

That’s the problem now with hunter’s pets, always have worry about healing them. A hunter takes their eyes off form their pets for a second… BAMB! They’re dead.

By kicking you could the loot chances favour them more?

That’d be a reason. Not a good one, but it’s a reason.

As I told another earlier, I’ve seen a lot of worthy solutions presented in just this forum alone - ones that logically address issues without branching off into bigger issues. It’s odd that Blizzard hasn’t done anything about it yet.

I mean it’s entirely possible. If that was the case, it would just showcase even further that the vote-kick abuse is horrendous and needs to be adjusted/examined.

That is an awful suggestion. If you’re getting kicked that frequently, then you need to adjust your behavior. Making you immune to being kicked just gives you free reign to be as insufferable as you can be ruining a dungeon for the 4 other people. Awful idea

lol…agreed…if you dont keep them maintained they can get burned down easily enough.
I hit my pet heal the second its off CD…whether it needs it or not.

Beastmaster is one of the most action packed versatile specs in this game.

Ranged but can cast on the move, ususally half decent damage…its got enough combat advantage as far as Im concerned that it can take a second and heal its own pet…and Beastmaster IS my main much of the time lol, so Im not saying this solely from a healing perspective.

People were fine with it before the majority shifted away from supporting them. Lol.

I’m not sure there’s more Blizzard can do. I think they’ve tweaked it, changed it up a bit here and there and still, the same problem exists.

With anything, there always seems to be casualties.
That may be what happened to you. I only say “may” because I wasn’t there.

  • Editing to add: There is something that players can do.
Players can demand a reason for a kick and not vote yes automatically til they get one.

ugh…just stop talking…lmao.
NOT ONCE did I say…son, that I get kicked a lot…lmao
when I NEED your opinion to figure out what MINE is, I send you a memo.

MY opinion…PERIOD

If there is more than one hunter in a group , than there is another possibility they were kicked, so that hunter doesn’t get bow or gun. Another reason why a hunter gets kicked. Same reason in raids too. Knowing that one boss drops bows.
