Was just doing my morning timewalking runs on my hunter. Run was going very very smooth. I was jamming out to my usual music and we were going at a great pace. Then suddenly out of nowhere I see a loading screen and I zone back into town, with a yellow text box that says “you have been removed from the group”.
Nobody said anything. My DPS was great, no DPS were pulling mobs for the tank, nobody was dying…
The others decided they no longer wanted you in the group. Maybe their buddy logged in or they didn’t like your transmog. They don’t really have to give you a reason.
Kinda sucks… gotta wait 30 mins now. If anything, I wish I could know why
I’m sitting here just scrolling through the chat and combat log to see if there was anything that I missed but there is nothing lol
In breath one theyre gonna tell you that it never happens to them so youre lying…then in the next breath you’ll be told that theyre ALLOWED to kick you for ‘any’ reason and dont have to play with you thereby confirming THEY ARE the ones kicking for no reason lol
I understand your skepticism, but I ran m+ for one week and people are pretty kick happy these days. I even hit yes one time and kicked the tank since he was behaving very erratically.
It’s not that nothing happened, it’s you don’t know what you did or didn’t do.
Being a hunter, it could have been anything like stray arrow, pet, taunt, etc.
And Every hunter says “Taunt is off” but taunt is not off as much as you think. I made my own weakaura that alerts me to every time a huntard pet taunts. Your taunt is not off, look at the icon with the glowing edges around it.
I appreciate the feedback, but I definitely don’t have my pet taunt enabled.
If that were true they could have at least kicked me at the end of the run, given that their buddy wouldn’t be able to zone into that instance since it was a random que.
Yeah I’ve done dozens of TW dungeons in the last couple weeks, and thousands of dungeons in my WoW career. It’s far more likely that there was a reason OP was kicked, and he either can’t figure out what it is, or doesn’t want to tell us. It’s a very very small chance it was truly “for no reason whatsoever”.
