I know you do get deserter if kicked, I happen to believe that if you are kicked you shouldnt get deserter, most players are DPS, and in being kicked you lose out on the rest of that dungeon, and have to wait for a long que to pop before you can get into the next one. Especially since you can be kicked for any reason, (I’ve seen a kick get started simply because someone was a mechagnome) it makes no sense to enable a system with such negative consequences when it can be so freely abused.

Well, it’s how the system has to be in order to function.
Ive seen a few questionable kicks, many that were justified some that were for stupid reasons. Antedotcal ofc, but then again so is your case. Lets just say some people really hate certain races

No actually it’s proving to me that the vote to kick system is working perfectly, and it’s reinforcing that all these threads about getting kicked for no reason are people who are salty about getting kicked for a very valid reason.
You want to change the system because you want less punishment for your in-game toxicity. You can’t tell people that so you come to the forums and make up a scenario where you’re somehow the victim.
I’ve literally watched someone get the boot mistakenly for someone else before.

I cant even count the ‘AFK’ kicks Ive seen where I was literally watching the player while Im healing…he’d be top two on DPS, not taking any damage he shouldnt be. …right there with the group doing his job and ZERO reason to kick
but some Gump would get a vote kick thru anyway and Id tell the kiddies to find a healer while theyre at it and bail.

You can’t see who voted to remove you from the group. Hence another one of your temper tantrums and it’s none of your business who anonymously reports or kicks your posterior out of the group.

they are HILARIOUS given they say ‘it never happens’ while in the same breath literally admitting they kick others for no good reason and defend the behavior, lmao.
And they lack the processing power to figure out why they cant be taken seroiusly in here…or in game.
Ive a feeling that MOST bogus kickers are those end game 'wannabe’s who couldnt make the cut and got chumped by a REAL end game guild and now taking their kiddie rage out on other players so they can feel ‘powerful’ again…get a boost for that bruised ego and the daddy issues lol…

as you can see by the RABID responses in here that some are ok with abusing other players and many of them are scared to death that they might be exposed for their behavior if we could see who had voted to kick lol
While MOST wow players are great folk, these miserables who abuse players with bogus kicks ARENT MMO players at all…not a little bit.
Easy enough to discern that fact because they play the game to project their own personal misery out into the game to get some kind of perverse boost to the ego /esteem that is clearly lacking, likely caused from some personal trauma in years past.
Normal human beings dont get a kick out of causing other human beings misery like these ones do…ruining their game time for no justifiable cause.
Frankly, I personally believe they should be weeded out and banned for life from the game entirely.
Id be ok with turning over SS# and finger prints to play games like this if it meant once these sorts are banned they’ll NEVER be able to get back into the game again to ruin it for other players.
