We ask ourselves WHY did blizzard even bother with that JOKE Social contract when they allow and ENABLE ABUSE of other players in defiance of that contract.

Yeah, hmm, why does Blizzard have both a social contract and a vote to kick system.

I propose it’s because using the vote to kick system doesn’t actually violate the social contract.

Or does that reason not jibe with your unreasonable?

With the toxicity of the community it is a normal thought to have. I haven’t been kicked like that but I’ve joined a group that in the current TWing on an alt while they were fighting the last boss and it was at 40% left. 2 of us joined and the 3 there were all in the same guild so either the people decided to leave at 40% left or they were kicked not sure. I found it to be very odd that I spawned in ZF on the last boss only with it at 40%. Quickest TW dungeon I’ve done lol.

Honestly it’s better if people get kicked without a debuff, because if they’re actually trolling by over pulls or AFK then people can right-click and report them in for game play sabotage, which prompts already exist for. This ensures a GM would eventually look into that player’s behavior.

The others decided they no longer wanted you in the group. Maybe their buddy logged in or they didn’t like your transmog. They don’t really have to give you a reason.

and Id personally be ok with seeing names of who initiated the kick and who voted yes…if for no other reason than to know who to put on ignore.

One last thing I forgot to mention. I don’t think giving the names of the kickers is a good idea.

Already you can see who you were grouped with and can add them to your ignore list if that’s what you want but to single out the one who initiated the vtk would just be adding fuel to the fire.

The reason would be good enough, I’d think.

I want to put everyone who participated in a bogus kick on ignore…
I also dont want to unfairly ignore someone who didnt participate.
If I cant see which 3 of the 4 kicked, Im unjustly treating someone for no good reason…Im as bad as the clown kickers at that rate
