Didn’t go slow for anything I just combed every single floor for everything and got 100% on every single floor. Finished the run with only 18 anima powers.
3 stars. Can’t even get 4 stars for a 100% completion run anymore the new torghast rating system needs to stop locking me out of the next layer. If I can complete the layer it should just unlock the next layer just like it used to this is frickin ridiculous.
Everyone keeps moving the goalposts and making up new excuses for this awful system.
The floors are small. There is no way I could get 30 powers if I ended the run with 18. I could have gotten 20 powers but not 30.
I shouldn’t lose a star because I got hit by a trap.
This is so freaking ridiculous. What a god awful terrible idea to make torghast even worse than it was before.
I GOT 100% ON EVERY SINGLE FLOOR. I TAKE EVEN MORE TIME TO DO TORGHAST NOW EVEN WITH ONLY 5 FLOORS. WHY IS 100% NOT A 4 STAR RATING THIS IS SO DUMB LOL.
I’ve done 4 stars many times on my ilvl 196 alt, taking almost an hour per run. You do need a plan, though. Pinpoint where your bonus points will come from and make sure you complete those objectives.
Not a fan of this new system either. If you want to add extra rewards for completing the area a certain way fine. But locking me out of the next layer just because I didn’t complete it the exact way Blizzard wants me too is ridiculous.
As I understand it, you earn extra points by achieving certain other stuff, not just clearing the floor. Things like not getting hit by traps, and so on. I’ve done a few of them, recently with a friend, and I actually didn’t mind it, I thought it was sort of fun. We got to chat while doing it, made sure we were each checking various spots, having a bit of a laugh along the way. It’s actually not that terrible but I’m not a ‘high achiever’ so if I don’t get more than 3 stars then I think well, maybe next time I’ll concentrate of doing X or Y and seeing if I can better that score.
I guess its really a matter of what you find entertaining. Me, I think its better than what they had previously but each to their own.
But isn’t that the way games work? They set up the system, you try and beat it. Their game, their rules. Same if you go into a dungeon or a raid, you play it there way or you lose.
It is/was never hard to “100% complete” Torghast. You could sit there and wait for all of your cooldowns on hard pulls which doesn’t make you a good player.
The funny thing is I 5 star the 11’s despite being 13 ilvls or so “under” them because I actually understand how to get points. You were given advice too that will work for everyone and doesn’t require getting any points in the time category either.
Stop acting like a petulant child and educate yourself on how to improve your score and get to doing it…or don’t.
I think a lot of the issue is the fact that the only way to know the rules is to look them up on third party sites. A lot of the things which earn points are not intuitive gameplay, and god forbid Blizzard explain their own systems.
