Us green people (or, “orcneas”) have been getting representation in pop-culture for 1200 years, it truly flattered me.
melkor/morgoth is likened to satan, and his orcs to pieces of himself he shaped into demons to do his bidding.
He’s supposed to represent Satan. He’s comically evil in the Silmarillion. Tolkien was ultra catholic and it really shows in his writing.
