Just give the alliance high elves already

Only if they are a gnome in a mechaelf suit.

Why did you say that?

Or…don’t. And let the Horde have them since blood elves and high elves are the same thing.

Because it isn’t a no brainer and your first point had no validation to back it.

Except that WoW isn’t expressley a PVP focused game; it certainly has robust systems for it, but It’s clear that the focus is on world, story and dungeon elements. As such any action that is taken needs to carefully consider how it will effect the greatest number of players (which happens to be horde).

It isn’t a joke, it’s an important part of the balancing aspect of the addition of races to the game particularly when the express goal of this is to rebalance the player population without adversely effecting the extent subscriber base.

So balance the scales. What race would you pick for horde that would simultaneously satisfy their player base while not setting off a fresh round of tantrums by the more hyperbolic portions of the alliance player base?

In The simplest terms possible.

If you’re on the Alliance, Blizzard doesn’t care nearly as much

If they spend Hours, Days, Months working on something, then why would they give it to a faction that none of the devs play? none of the raiders play?

This is why the Horde gets new, interesting races, and the Alliance gets recolors, and Gnomes with high res assets stabbed onto them

Mechagnomes. Jeezbus no reason to be a jerk.

Look, if all you do is cater to Horde, which is what you want apparently:

Why have Alliance at all? Why not fold all races into Horde?

Look all I’m saying is if Diaper Gnomes are good enough for the Alliance Void Diaper Gnomes should be good enough for the Horde.

Yeah, actually it is. Blizzard owns WoW, not you. You just pay them the privilege to play the game every month; you don’t own a single piece of digital WoW content.

Blizz makes the rules, not you.

That is unwise.

In the immortal words of Consuela…

“No”

I mean the answer’s fairly obvious.

Not enough people play Horde in Blizzard’s eyes >.>

The Alliance isn’t getting high elves. In fact, blood elves are getting blue eyes.

Yeah, so? That just means that you’re Blood Elves with blue eyes. The Alliance ain’t getting High Elves, but neither are the Horde.

You cannot demolish the request.

High Elf people who don’t play horde now are certainly not going to decide to do so now because of an eye color.

You don’t say? I thought all the posts about the high elves flaring up now were completely unrelated to that revelation >.>

…That’s sarcasm, btw.

That’s not what I want and it’s a disingenuous approach to the response that I’ve had to your take on adding high elves as an allied race. No, what I want is for the alliance player base to appreciate what they have instead of tantruming over what they don’t.

Like believe it or not but i legitimately appreciate both the Kultirans and the mechagnomes; they both have fascinating lore and models with most of the complaints stemming from how they aren’t yet more supermodels. never mind their decent kit of racials or how breathtaking the druid forms are, they’re not pretty enough so clearly this is a horrible affront.

As to whether or not to have the alliance at all, aside from being a hyperbolic take, there have been a sizable number of players from the alliance who have been proposing the disolution of factions as a concept which… while unlikely, would actually lead to a more even overall system since the devs would no longer have to be concerned with balancing two groups.

But that aside, what I’d prefer would be for them to move away from allied races and closer to neutral ones like the pandarens.

Sethrak yes, high elves no.

We dont need more lazy reskins, especially of more elves
