I know, they know, everyone knows.
But they want that legolas look. That’s what this entire thing is about.
Its silly.

i’ve tried to talk sense into some helfers about asking for more velf customization but some seem to want to rage on the forums instead of work on a compromise.
Right, better add more Human races, right?
Stormwind Humans, Undead humans, Kul’tiran Humans, Gilnaen Humans… Oh wait… the same number?
I’d be all for withered and wretched…and high elves
Let’s nuke kul’tirans and gnomes instead. Yes, gnomes. Not mechagnomes, gnomes.
It’s a case of the alliance layer base not accepting the actual lore; the remanants of the previous alliance effectively used them as canon fodder in the waning days of the third war and left then prince kael’thas so incensed that he pulled out, a feeling that was overwhelmingly shared by the majority of helves.
All that this insipid crusade has brought you is grief and bitterness.
Let it go.
Which is why it won’t hurt the lore or anyone’s gameplay to give the Void Elves lighter skin tones and expanded customization.
I don’t think they should resemble Blood Elves, but I do think that Void Elves should still be visibly Void Elves. Hair options without tentacles already exist. They’d just need lighter skin tones and maybe some cooler expanded options too.
my main is horde and i offer to trade you belves straight up for kt. pls.
This about killed me. I shouldn’t have laughed as hard as I did, but I did. Thank you.
You and me both. People would rather rage and yell about getting their perfect flavor of Elf than try and compromise.
What I don’t understand is how, lore wise, would the Silver Covenant not just adopt the Void Elves as they’re the same race. And so High Elves can be a customization option of the Elves the Alliance already have. It makes sense, lore wise and customization wise.
But no, High Elf players need to be special…
Kul tiran are awful and should have just been regular human, not a race, gilnean should be wolf all the time.
Undead should have more race variety since everything was raised that could be.
Painting an existing race and calling it something new is dumb. That’s what transmog and customization options should have been for.
Yes junkgnomes included.
I’ll take it.
Hell yes!
I want Alteraci humans for Horde.
No, if you want a chonky race on Horde, let’s get bigboi Zul’aman Zul’gurub trolls. We’re already getting new troll skins for the other variations of trolls in SL, so it makes sense to get Forest and Still In Stranglethorn Jungle Trolls™ too.
it’s like trying to tell a child they’re not getting the ice cream because they refuse to eat their veggies. their reaction is just “BUT I WANT IT NOW” very frustrating.
Blizzard didn’t make Gnomeregan a playable city because of faction imbalance.
Giving the Horde the ability to play as any race makes sense but it should be restricted because it’s too imbalanced. That is something so cool and the Horde would have Forsaken Worgen, Draenei, Gnomes, Humans, Dwarves… On the Horde…
If they did this then there would need to be an Alliance Forsaken and a Horde Forsaken.
Even though I see the reality of Horde bias, Blizzard still does take faction balance seriously.
Incoming lightforged undead.
Is it that difficult to add different races?
They could have Echo Isles where the Darkspear live a full city and then made Gnomeregan a full city.
if alliance gets an undead race i want eredar!
They could have done a lot.
Like goblin undermine place.
It’s more like a restaurant saying “We won’t serve french fries” even after McDonalds has opened across the street.
They’re not undead and they’re perma-evil. Krokuul/Broken though, I’d be in favor of a million times over. Not my thing, but cool. Issue is females wouldn’t be japanese super-model level of hot so they might not be played much. Imo though that’s not a reason Alliance shouldn’t have them.
