Probably going to join you once my 6 month sub is up too. There are a lot of things driving players away.
Why do play massively multiplayer games?
Everyone trolling the OP but they’re right?
PvP Players want Vendors and PvP Stats. Not needing to grind M+ and Raids to be viable just for Random Bgs, let alone Arena’s.
Random Bgs were the beginning of the gearing process for PvP for a long time, and than suddenly that system was thrown away and drastically changed. A system very few people had any issue with.
I can’t not feel so bad for how poorly PvP players have been treated in the last few years of WoW. If I played WoW just for PvP I’d quit too.
how do you cancel your pre-order?
WoW has always been about group content… Go play a single player game. Why are you on an MMO?
bye felicia
You are basically asking for a hand out. Not much is changing come SL and yes I’ve read the patch notes. Its blown way out of proportion.
I can totally sympathize with this. Let people play the game they way they want to play it. PvP should be separate from PvE
don’t come back pliz. bye felicia.
you too. more games out there.
I mean if everyone is mthic lvl gear in pvp means they got the gear so simply do what they did O-o but sounds like you need a break might I suggest xiv or eso or even swtor great games (no i’m not being a butt I like these games sue me)
Has WoW ever not forced you into group content for the best gear? I mean, you can get good gear with LFR and such, but it’s not the best gear.
Now, I think there’s definitely room for different types of rewarding and fun group content. DPS only dungeons where everyone is basically running amok. Encounters where healers have to keep NPCs alive, encounters where the tank has to pull mobs off of NPCs. These types of things could be scaled too, but it would probably need to be somewhat limited for the Tank and Healer roles. Still, it could be done.
1000% disagree with your stance of Blizzard putting the best gear in group content being a bad thing. Why play an MMO if the best gear comes from solo content?
That said, it feels like your actual issue is that you only PvP, but you have to PvP against Mythic Raiders who have better gear than PvP offers.
Which is a legitimate complaint, and one that could easily be fixed without totally breaking the reward scheme of various forms of content.
Okay, see you in Shadowlands!
LOL.
You seem to be of the impression that rated play gives PVP gear worth a darn.
I just think the design of the game is no longer fun. I used to love it but now its hard to find areas of the game to dive into and enjoy. Fishing even had its moments but now omg LOL. Class design is a mess thus making raiding more than 2 hours in a day a chore etc. Heck i used to play hooky and log in for 8 -9 hours but now the content feels more like a boring chore than a fun escape. Oh BTW i have not ordered SL as I think it’s bad so far.
PvP isn’t solo content.
I’ll be honest, I wouldn’t be here if my old guild wasn’t here. I’d still be in FFXIV. But some of the crafting changes sound good. It’s possible that SL won’t suck.
But I’m out after the 6 months of game time I bought is up. I’m pretty sure Blizz is going to string us along for as long as possible and I’d rather get the start finished and then get through the hour of story all at once that will take everyone else who sticks around a year to get through.
You shouldn’t have used the word solo content, or against group content.
Also shouldnt have posted this in GD.
The carebears by vast majority are not in touch with reality as you can tell from the comments.
BG’s are not solo content, you’re a hypocrite.
Jesus you really think raiding is that difficult? I did N’Zoth raid for the first time last month to get AOTC with a friend who was a mythic raider. Watching people die to mechanics that done the raid a dozen of times or more than me and I only died once. Its not hard, its not rocket science, but like people been saying bring the pvp gear back. I don’t give 2 cent all the whiny pver’s going into BG’s and cry because they’re being outplayed and out skilled by those who put the effort and time to actually learn how to counter their weaknesses and strengthen themselves in pvp.
