How dare a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game force you to play with other people. >_>; As someone who started in late vanilla a few months before BC released…this is just a return to more normal times. If I wanted the best gear for my character, I sucked it up and raided.

It’s going back to its roots why should a solo player get rewarded the same as a large grp of coordinated players? Answer is they shouldn’t plenty of single player games out there for that. Just look at WoW Classic, a huge number of people came back because Wow got away from what made it special 15 years ago so yah WoW should pander to the minority player and alienate the player base that made it king in the first place.

Don’t think I will ever come back if SL continues the way it forces you to do group content to get the best gear, all I want just PVP and I don’t wanna get a master degree in playing WOW just to be able form an arena team or join a raid or mythic +, which offers the highest form of easy gears.

If blizzard will allow a super hard solo content and offers the highest ilvl loot you can obtain in game, I will change my mind to re purchase.

I already foresees many toxic people will comment “you don’t do group content you don’t need mythic gears.” but I wanna bg pvp and my opponent are all mythic gears, so I need mythic gears to compete.

My end game is basically LFR and BG, both currently offers lower ilvl than your basic daily quest cache drop. I do not have any incentive to play WOW anymore, hope SL could offers something to players like me.

Make the solo content super hard and grindy, I don’t mine, but give a solo pvper a chance to play your game please.

So basically you are quitting because of loot. You want top loot for doing non top content. Makes sense. I mean, you deserve Heroic or even Mythic gear which takes a lot more work, time, effort, a lot harder, etc. than M+ 20-30 min dungeons where you are guaranteed a weekly loot item just for completing the dungeon. You also don’t need that ilvl for super hard solo content. Being able to do it on your own time etc. is still nothing close to the amount of work people put in raiding.

WoW is also an mmo. If you need a single player mmo so badly then go play SWToR. It is based now as a single player story mmo now with group content if you want.

It’s not that difficult to get into a queue for an M+ though… practice forming a group and after you do it two or three times it’ll feel natural and easy and you might even pick up some friends along the way.

If not, join Zul’jin and send me a whisper; I’ll be more than happy to bring ya into the guild and when our schedules line up we can run content.

There were opportunities for you to expand to Heroic level gear just from purely solo content.

• Building weekly cache through conquest until it upgrades to 460 for the weapon.

• Collection of upgrades to your crafting from both the WQ bosses and arena kills (no raid participation required at all). This would mean atleast 1-2 Mythic level pieces.

• Visions of N’Zoth.

If you had wanted to you could have geared much further than you have. You would have done much better if you had done that.

If you haven’t played the game in six months and come back wanting to be viable against someone who has elite conquest gear or is wholly decked out in mythic gear without any effort…No.

You shouldn’t get one shot but neither should you be expecting a fair fight. It’s silly to think otherwise.
