Join a guild, seriously

The only ignorant one here is you who simply refuses to actually read what I’ve said. If you had, you’d realise that nobody here has said that finding such communities wouldn’t solve their issue. You’re hugely disingenuous to imply otherwise. What I’ve said repeatedly is that the argument is reductionist and doesn’t account for the many nuances involved in finding said communities. Because you’re wrong. It isn’t as easy as you make it out to be. Sure some people luck out. But that isn’t gonna happen for everyone. And that is factually objective.

Me too dude. It’s something I love in SWTOR.

That game hasn’t done a name release in like, 10 years, so getting Tovi after they did their 4th server squish was impossible. So all my character have the “Tovi Legacy” title (legacies are just like war bands but better.)

Absolutely FALSE. You will find a guild EVENTUALLY It is not IMPOSSIBLE to find a guild.

Huh I have no idea what your reply means but I thought I was agreeing with you.

Quote me where I said it was impossible. I’ll wait.

In the meantime, feel free to think up more ways to strawman me. I find it quite entertaining.

The fast answer to this is the average GD poster is a neurotic manchild and most guilds would rightfully kick them for being an unpleasant person.

I’m in a guild and have a friend group, doesn’t mean they’ll always be on or want to do the same content as I do. This response is always stupid and the entire argument is just ignorance. If you have such a large community that you can constantly do M+ and Raid with a full group of friends, I’m happy for you, really I’m glad you have people you can enjoy the game with, but a lot of people simply don’t. It’s rarely from a lack of trying either, I’ve gone through so many guilds I’ve lost track over the decades some people from them I still talk with but many have quit the game or have no interest in doing content so it’s just a constant uphill battle of finding a guild, then finding a friend group within that guild and hoping it stays around for a long time until it inevitably either collapses, or people stop playing, or have no more interest in the same content as me.

I’d ditch my guild and link up with others if I could keep the CV flag somehow.

I loved how GW2 let you choose your tag, but it would also limit your “G” chat to that flag, which makes sense.

Not too big of a hit here with communities and such. All my communities are in “guild Green” anyhow.

We’ve got to open up some of the more silly constraints that prevent folks from coming together more easily. It’s not 20 years ago, Everyone has a sort of version of “doing their own thing” from time to time.

Oh I’m sure you do - Meanwhile I’m having a great time in my guild, progressing heroic because I put myself out there. This has nothing to do with luck.

Hey, i’m happy for you. Maybe one day you’ll have the self-awareness to realise not everything is black and white, nor as so simple as you try to make it out to be.

^said by someone in 4 premade comms that are basically the original cross-server guilds btw.

I’m not sure how much more simple putting yourself out there can be… Perhaps it’s a good thing “those” people cannot find guilds as they’d be a liability

Ceste la vie =^_^=

Again, still refusing to ackowledge the myriad of issues I’ve previously listed in this thread. But sure, let’s just hand wave those issues and go straight to the ideal end result because it suits the narative.

I bet you were one of those people who maintain that Frodo could have just used the eagles to get to Mordor in a few days and avoided all that palava.

That’s true as well, if that’s the case though then you just hop on and find a new guild/group/players. It’s not idea but that’s the reality. Nothing in this game is as long term as it used to be, just gotta do what you can to find enjoyment, whatever that term means to you

There is no issue though, I’m sorry you’re too delusional to see that.

This is profoundly hilarious and I love responding to threads like these.

Sure thing. No issue at all. Probably should tell that to the OP though seeing as they thought this “non-issue” required a thread. Sorry you’re too busy gaslighting yourself not to see that. :person_shrugging:

I agree. You’ve been quite entertaining.

Oh good, I’m glad you realize there’s no issue.

Have a great day!

Put yourself out there > find guild > as is been for the last 20~ years

And with that, time to mute this dumpster fire.

What if there’s one guild to find them?
One guild, to bind them?
