If it was still just the story we would have never moved away from classic Which was 30H/70A.
I never said anyone picks faction just for story.
I know the Horde RP on my server died during BFA which is when the bad story started.
And thatās unfortunate. To be clear, Iām all for the story improving overall and for the Horde specifically. I think there are clear improvements that can be made on both fronts.
Iām just not for trying to also screw over Alliance players too. Nobody should be getting screwed over. I donāt want Horde players getting screwed over either.
Yes, Draeneis are very lawful good in general, but thats the thing, no hands are clean at this point, Thrall has realistically as much reason to hate alliance PCs than he had to hate that blackmoore guy, alliance players have worked for and with characters that have done terrible things directly or indirectly.
We can stay in a āwar crime measuring contestā all we want, in the end, a reason to loathe is a reason no matter how big or small the crime was, and the theme of wc3 storytelling, MOP and BFA is that the only way to move on from that is giving up on retribution and actually moving on, and this is kinda what has been happening since DF.
I used to be part of a very active Troll guild. They disbanded when Rastakhan was killed due to lack of motivation. Since theyn I was a lone city guard with my Troll.
Man, this is actually sad. Iām a big horde fan but this is just sad to read. I get where you are coming from and I too am tired of villain bat. My favourite character since WC3 was Sylvanas and look what they have done to her. But I donāt want the Alliance to get the same terrible treatment because thatās just resentment that will harm nobody but yourself.
I donāt know what happened to you for you to end up like this, but to continue being like this will only make it worse for yourself. Let go, be better. Not for the lore, but for yourself.
Back to topic, Jaina isnāt a saint but if working with her is the price I have to pay to avoid another faction war in which I have to fight a 3rd Horde major character then so be it.
Is it really? By whose authority? Is it a defense in N. Korea? Is it a defense in the Horde or Alliance justice system? Is it a valid defense when facing the ultimate authority on judgement day?
Jaina is GUILTY!!! GUILTY!!! GUILTY!!!
Neither Horde or Alliance are pursing Jaina. I mean we could always have the entire Alliance and Horde tried for all their crimes to one another but I suspect the Alliance will have a shorter list and the Horde would hopelessly forced to deal with their guilt.
That is the problem with the Alliance. There are plenty of crimes on both sides, but they only see the Horde as the party who has done wrong.
EDIT: and Iām only asking Jaina be tried for hers, not the whole Alliance.
Plenty maybe, but the Horde has caused, what 3-4 genocides now? Like if you want justice, fine. But then the Alliance should also gets its own justice and we can see where the chips fall with that.
And I say no. If Jaina should be tried, so should the rest of the Horde leadership for their parts in all the evils committed in the Hordeās name.
They were! Look at Garrosh. Tried and found guilty. Just like Jaina should be.
And what of Baine, Lotherāmar and everyone else who blindly followed Garrosh/Sylvanas? Garrosh and Sylvanas didnāt massacre their way all on their own.
Baine and Lotherāmarā¦ fine. Sylvanas was innocent. It was only because of Arthas (an Alliance Prince) that her life took such a tragic turn. And she was found guilty and sentence to free souls in the Maw. Jaina needs a similar sentence for her crimes.
LMAO. Undead have it way worse in this regard. The entirety of Shadowlands questing is really silly when playing as an undead.
āOh a living person in the shadowlands how crazyā
Excuse me?
āHey, you can go into the light touched lands no problem because the light doesnāt harm you like it does us!ā
Uhhhā¦
Even TWW have a throwaway line by one of the characters about us sweating unlike Earthen doā¦ Pretty sure Undead wouldnāt sweat.
Yea the writers lately have kinda just been ignoring that undead PCās exist
Iām still amused that they (Maldraxxus) basically say the undead are just improperly attached souls, and itās never brought up again.
Granted, I donāt want them to introduce that to The Forsaken, but itās wild that it was brought up when thereās a playable Undead faction and never talked about again.
actually that part about improperly attached souls was lore for undead way before shlands
The implication I got from Shadowlands was that doing it properly would alleviate a lot of the bad stuff that comes with being Azerothian undead. Again, donāt want that to happen, because that would bleed everything appealing about Forsaken out of the faction to me.
Jaina shouldāve died in Dazarāalor.
