It totally is. If the alliance was treatet the same way they would have boycottet the game many times over by now.

If it was so bad, we wouldn’t have Horde players anymore.
Horde players are so used to being sidelined by now they stopped caring. Apathy doesn’t mean the problem isn’t there. Alliance players are so fed up with being the center of attention they throw a tantrum any time it looks like one of their favs is about to die. The outrage about Khadagar shows it. Unsastisfying deaths with no payoff are exclusive to the Horde only.
I started to notice this back in Bfa and they called me crazy. Now I am proven right and even content creators talk about it. It took a while but now we are on the same page.
If they’re apathetic to the problem and keep playing, it isn’t much of a problem.
Most people care about gameplay over lore anyway. We’re the minority when it comes to caring about the lore

Unlike most Light-worshipping races the draenei actually practice the virtues of the Light instead of just paying lip service to them. Which includes infinite forgiveness and compassion. The draenei realize the orcs were just the pawns of the Legion and ended up enduring great suffering themselves after everything was said and done. There is definitely an irreparable rift between the races now, but they don’t hate each other.

False dichotomy.
Not everyone plays for story.
Some people play races for racials.
Horde has had an overwhelming majority for years and that majority is self-feeding. People join the game and sign up for the faction that has the most players to play with.
But let’s not pretend you’re not trolling to begin with.
You know the Horde is given nothing but the following characters traits:
- Stupid.
- Evil.
- Weak.
- Set Dressing.
- Any Combination of the Above.

Well let’s review what I was responding to.
By your argument, if people aren’t playing for story or mainly want racials, then the game wouldn’t be boycotted because of bad story. So apparently it isn’t that bad that they’d boycott. Which was my position already.

Aside from Velen the draenei are not simply going to forgive the Horde. Hell, Zekhan was reminded of the blood elves attempt at wiping the draenei with the vector core. I really hate this idea that the draenei are somehow all like Velen when a good chunk of draenei are quite willing to be abit vindictive in a “I am not going ot hurt, but I am not helping you either” sort of way to the transgression of the Horde.
Said new generation successful commited a genocide on the Night elves. And had it not been for a literal sea preventing them from marching into Exodar, the Horde would probably have gone after the Exodar.
I know many RP servers that did infact die due to the bad story.
PVE is what people are here for and where most guilds formed after the leveling became bearable(Cataclysm) and raids were made easy(Legion).

Servers die for a lot of reasons together. Also not a boycott.
In which case they’re accepting the bad story because they don’t care.
