Jaina Proudmoore’s age

Kind of like how k-daddy was artificially aged, he’s actually rather young

How old are we? What’s Blizz going to do when lore characters become 80? We going to just pretend they are all unnaturally healthy for their age forever?

Not really on topic but you’ve got to love how Azeroth has faced a dozen different world ending threats in thirty years. lol

It is a problem when you move your series from an RTS setting to an MMO setting.

You can’t really have time skips for an MMO.

If WoW makes it that far, there’s magic man.

She was born 3 years prior to the first war and considering we’re 35 years after the first war. She’s either 37 or 38.

Considering my toon looks like i’m 30 myself now or older, i guess they’ll change our models again.

That would be interesting lol, if we can age our characters

Ah, to be young and naive.

You may have heard that there are two constants in the universe. Death and taxes. Well my young friend, there is a third.

Death
Taxes
Never guess a woman’s age/weight.

Us? Well it all depends on the character. Average Human could be between 20-30, average Orc, maybe a bit younger.

And when the lore characters become 80? Well, we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. Probably got another 20-50 years depending on the character.

Thrall getting old and being unable to fight off pneumonia would be a hell of an end to his story.

I’m almost 40 and the oldest woman in guild.

I get called Grandma.

Lol.

pat pat Thats sound wisdom to go by.

I mean it’s not like i want people to know ill be going into my 11th millennium.

Not sure why people think the 30’s are old. It’s so dumb… I mean, you’re 30, right? you can still run up and down a flight of stairs, bend down, lift heavy object, conceive, give birth, look hot, and fall without breaking a hip. You could probably even do that stuff in your 40’s… maybe in your 50’s too if you’re in amazing shape.

My bf is 29 and literally all i hear about is how “he’s getting so old”… eye roll. yall still have another 70-90 years to live.

Generally each expansion is one year in-universe.

Azeroth has yearly apocalypses lol

I was under the impression that xpacs covered roughly a decade or at the very least there is a time skip of roughly 10 years between each xpac.

And now I am wondering what the cannon age of Carne was when he died. Last I remember he was over 100 at the time of his death.

WoW could do that, if we were all elves lol

We’ve been through vanilla, tbc, wotlk, cat, WoD, legion and bfa.

That would be 70 years if each expansion was a decade lol

Jaina would be like 100 years old. Probably dead of old age.

I mean I am a 8ft tall bull with the ability to summon the elements to help me fight world ending threats on the regular. I think I am allowed to skip the ageing process.

You are.

But not everybody else.

Blizzard won’t just make every human character immortal because that would bite on the things that make their elves and Draenei special.

And believe me when I say this: Jaina, Li Li, Vanessa Vancleef and Whitemane wouldn’t be nearly as popular if they were elderly ladies lol

Anduin probably would though.

Also, they would have to keep making new characters to replace the ones who got too old and died, and they would have to keep making new models for others every expansion to show them aging, etc. It would be expensive.

All those factors are why Blizzard decided to make each expansion one year. A relatively small amount of time so that change happens slowly enough that they can dev and profit from it.
