Jaina does not personally kill Sunreaver civilians

Weird how Khadgar was able to maintain Dalaran’s neutrality without committing genocide. So, Jaina is just incompetent then?

She doesn’t have the right to make any law she wants. She is the head of a council, not a monarch.

If she had caught them in the act she would have had the right to act in the interests of Dalaran and its stance on neutrality. She didn’t, what she did was go on a vendetta against Horde citizens who were completely uninvolved, actively breaking neutrality.

Considering the Sunreavers betrayed Dalaran, AGAIN she was right to leave Dalaran.

The Sunreavers betrayed Dalaran? No, a rogue agent did. Even if the entire organization betrayed Dalaran, she was under no circumstances justified to leave Dalaran. Her leaving Dalaran was equivalent to a temper tantrum, unreasonable considering the circumstances (Legion Invasion.)

I thought the whole point of MoP Jaina was that she was an unhindged wildcard after Theramore, acting as a subversion of her own dovish peace-mongering prior to the bombing.

She says edgy things like “don’t get soft, Varian” and laced up like 2 of Atheas’s guards the moment she walked in the room. And Vareesa’s like her little flying monkey.

She definitely overstepped. Wasn’t that the point?

I think she feels responsible for wanting things to have gone down better. But she doesn’t feel responsible enough to end up having to be punish considering what happened with Baine’s excecution.

lets not forget her subordinates slaughtered sunreaver members and civilians.

And Aethas’ subordinates stole the bell and caused Theramore’s destruction. So which is it, do we punish everyone or not?

From her dialogue it’s clear to me she believes she’s responsible for the deaths of Blood Elves.

The Horde should of put full support behind Garrosh to try and wipe out the Alliance. Yeah whoooo! Let’s have a real war!

jaina broke the neutrality by rulling over an alliance city during a war against the alliance supplying them soldier all of this before mop before the bomb was dropped.

And yet she doesn’t feel responsible enough to get punished.

Usually it’s not the person who commits an act that decides if they are punished or not. She’s not punished because she’s Alliance.

Jaina(and Theramore) WERE NEVER NEUTRAL. Having said that, when she became leader she declared the city neutral.

What are you referring to? Where does Jaina say this and why does this make a difference?
I thought your first post here was trying to make it seem Jaina was not responsible for Sunreaver deaths.

If Dalaran was any old city then sure.

However Dalaran is both the equivalent to a nuclear silo/research center for magical artifacts. The Kirin Tor are literally a force for policing mages and magic items.

Our legion artifacts prove this fact as Dalaran research is the spearhead for helping the players track down our weapons. Some of those had world ending capacity in lore.

Jaina moving to cut off the Sunreavers who had literally just handed Garrosh the Divine Bell (another magical WMD) was more than resonable considering the magical archives and vaults she is in charge of.

Can you really risk military support and espionage for Garrosh through the Sunreaver faction when betrayal to the Kirin Tor has happened twice? Especially when the first time wiped out a city.

What did Jaina do about her people there in Theramore attacking Horde?

I don’t see her going out of her way begging the Sunreavers forgiven. Again, she feels responsible for what happened in the Purge but she was not guilty of killing, at least directly, any civilians.

She had the towers fortified with mages and citizens evacuated.

It’s never reasonable to kill civilians for what others of the same race have done. Just like it wasn’t reasonable for Sylvanas to burn Teldrassil, killing those civilians.

Those two should share a jail cell.

Well that’s too bad because she should be begging the Sunreavers for forgiveness.
So not only was she responsible for the purge and their deaths you’re saying she doesn’t really feel very guilty about it.

The Kirin Tor is not a police force it’s a wizard school, Jaina made it into a police force the same as Malygos when he tried to control everyone’s magic.

Them trying to hold artifacts or anything has proved historically to fail times after times. Even in Legion they couldn’t hold the keystones.

The Sunreavers were half of the Kirin tor, going to the civil war option was still a terrible choice. If the Sunreavers truly wanted to betray Dalaran they would have done much worse.
