I've Realized that What Makes MMOs FUN is NOT Playing with Other People

You can still box…you just cant use the automation crap to do it.

My bad, Bring back the automation crap to do it. So I can multibox effectively. I have delves to multibox.

I have done several follower dungeons and while i like them for getting the feel of a dungeon for my first run or two, i still enjoy real players more. Don’t generally have bad experiences.

I duel box with two laptops side by side, whith zero assist and this is still my preferred method to play open world content going on 20 years now. I can also duel box in follower dungeons. When i finally have some decent gear, maybe season 2 or 3, i try my hand at M+, but don’t duel box for that. Season one i just focus on alts.

I haven’t tried that, I’m multiboxing 4 hunters with just follow, windowed mode and lots of mouse clicks.

I used to see muliboxers once in a while with 5 or so, and never felt threatened. It was quite rare to see. So didn’t understand all the hate.

I used to do 5 in Legion. It always found it the most fun way to play the game.

Wasn’t an issue for the average person that multiboxed even using the software. Was when the multiboxers started running those 10, or more characters together tapping every node in a zone, griefing people in warmode, and started behaving like hacker bots is why the software ended up getting banned. Was on the receiving end from a multibox gank squad in Zuldazar back in BFA. That is what changed my stance on the software, and glad Blizz decided to ban it. In the long run boxer software users became they’re own worst enemies.

Nazjatar lol. That zone lit the forums up when it came to multiboxing

really odd.
When I ran across boxers a few of them literally sat there and let me farm the node before theyd hit it.
Ive personally had nothing but good interactions.
Must just be a few boxers that ruined it for everyone else

Oh, I agree for the most part. Poster above you pretty much nailed it. Never really paid much attention to them over the years, and even had a couple friends that used to dual box all the time. Was when that 8- or 10-character team ganked me in Zuldazar is when I decided to turn against the software usage part of multiboxing. All casting spells at the exact same time.

 Pretty much it. A few bad apples in the orchard are all it took. Will say Blizzard should have checked into how they handle mb over on EQ. They have what is callled truebox servers setup for folks that like to multibox. They don’t even say anything about the software being used as long as people are not using it to disrupt others gameplay. Don’t quote me on that though. Just going by what others have said in the past about mb’ing over at EQ.

Per xpac, I really run into multi-boxers or some that could be botting really at such a low rate I can probably count the groups to be under 10 per xpac. Their activities have never stopped me from leveling toons, farming nodes or any other activities I was engaged in at the time.

Are some of them annoying at times, yes. But for the most part as much time as I spent in the game per day as a retired medically disabled vet that has all day to play every day to play. I seldom even see multi-boxers or bots.

PvP is a choice, you choose to flag yourself then you choose to get wacked by someone. Simple cure, is not to flag oneself then you don’t have to worry about PvP.

WoW has always been a mix of both single player content and group content and everything in between. Much of how people play is more up to the person and what they want to do to progress their goals in the game.

I have fun either way, when I am in a group be it random people or people that I know. Or if I am just trucking around on my own grinding out things.

You should have that pointing to yourself.

“…food is laid out people are buffing everyone is in a good mood.”

AI is laying out food and one person is in a good mood.

Bro there are no people in there with you. You are alone.

This is a very sad and depressing post, holy moly.

lmao…feels like a troll stalking me around again trying to start trouble and chaos on the forum again lol.

Well said. Agree a 100%. So chill if I suddenly want to finish a quest, practice something specific or just relax.
Have fun

It’s a fine expansion but that’s a grade-AA generic hashtag

:+1: :+1: :+1:
its definitely bumped some of my favorites down the list.
I think Mists is now tied with TWW and then DF and then all of classic and then Legion.

Blame the community for making it this way lmao

If you were actually playing a MMO the didn’t pit people against each other, you would probably enjoy the social aspects more.

WoW has too many systems that create friction between players, systems like M+ and rated PVP.

No, blame the developers for attracting and curating a toxic and ultra competitive community.

I play all the other big MMOs, and none of them come close to the level of toxicity that WoW has.
