I think it’s PROBABLY actually TIME they DEAL with YOU talking ABOUT hating PEOPLE you’ve NEVER even INTERACTED with WHILE posting LIKE an NUTJOB.

Paying a separate subscription just to post on forums without showing your achievement points is wild ngl.

You know what makes a good normal dungeon with other people, finding those with the same mindset as you, that’s the entire problem with LFG and PUGs, you find one person who enjoys pulling one pack at a time, and up to M10 you can do that and still time a dungeon, but then you run into one dude (me) who pulls everything and then some, on all difficulties.

Even when running M15 I still pull like 6 packs at once, I love it, but I also play with people who can keep up with me, and that falls in line with what you are saying, it’s what makes it fun for me, being able to go HAM and have four other players who can either keep up or laugh when we hit the floor.

Find some like minded players, actual real life players and you will find it’s even better.

Certainly ruiined it for me.
And I just do not have the desire to commit to a regular group, so Im left with random pugs if I want to do group content at any level

Absolutely agree.

I played ESO for some time. Not a single foul transaction over there. Never had anyone do anything annoying. Actually seemed to be a pretty good community.

Most here are decent, but theres just enough like that guy to make you hesitate before clicking to join a group for anything.
they even ruined BG’s for me for god sake…and thats literally trying to kill each other lmao.

I use it for boxing and AHing (and a lot of other crap I enjoy)…why is it your business again?

You will never encounter me in game, I don’t spend any amount of time doing trivial or entry level content.

You simply do not have the ability to find yourself in a situation where you’d ever interact with me in game because you barely play, and you don’t play anywhere near the same level I do.

dude literally proving my case for me…and he cant help but do it lol

You have a hard time understanding and grappling with actual reality.

I don’t do matchmaking content. Lfg. Lfr. Random battlegrounds.

You don’t play at even those levels, let alone anything above it.

So your claims ABOUT me BEING the KIND of PERSON you HATE are spurious because…again….you’ve never encountered me in game.

You only know me as someone who calls out a boomer for their delusions.

This is a result design philosophy that facilitates toxic gameplay for other players. The lava on the floor mechanics, stupid high APM rotations and mindless aoe gameplay does not help that. Gear dependency in retail wow is extremely high as well which layers onto the ilvl issue, where if you don’t have ‘good gear’ you’re overlooked.

Gating players on content does not encourage a healthy community, especially if players have control over that.

None of these issues will be fixed, because the design philosophy of retail wow is anti MMORPG. None of their designs help promote or facilitate player behavior in a positive way to help mitigate natural toxic player behavior.

yeah…the game design does seem to breed more bad behavior.
People are horrible enough, they dont need the environment encouraging that ill mannered behavior to boot

How do people get ilvls in the first place, if you think that you’re being gated as a result of it?

When my ilvl is low, I run my own key and start my own group. I grind IO score and gear and work my way up each season because…it’s fun.

I do agree with you that there is a philosophy design issue. Blizzard has never done a very good job of explaining that matchmaking content isn’t endgame, and doesn’t encourage players to get better so that they can engage in endgame.

An old WoW dev wrote a blog about this. They basically said that the current devs just don’t understand what made WoW a great MMO in the first place.

What sense does this make?

Raiding
Dungeons
PvP
Leveling

We’re still doing what we were doing then, just a lot more of it.

What made wow “so great” back then is that online gaming was so new.

WITH ALL CAPS: AMEN!

Why isn’t max level matching making content
“endgame”?
