The time to rebuild silvermoon was about a decade ago.
Not even kidding: I’m fairly certain that a playstation 2 could run that zone.
I agree… Actually a revamp of all of our starting areas to bring them into the current timeline would be amazing.
Plus they can add more lore interactions within the current timeframe and expand their world building. Something WoW is sorely missing.
I’d rather they fill the hole in Barrens.

I think Blizzard mentioned some time in the past that the game logic and/or animation is heavily tied to the X,Y,Z axis (somehow) and the origin point of the “map”. So moving geometry causes the A.I/scripts to break or something.
Basically, the zone has to be remade if they want to move it from the Outlands map.
Edit: I believe Blizzard tried to move Quel’Thalas to the Easter Kingdom map back in Cata or MoP. But due to unknown complications (maybe just a lack of time), the “transfer” of the zone was canceled.
The island that has the 2 dungeons is already instanced isn’t it?

The scar is very explicitly corrupted land, spreading the scarred land over more of the forest without actually having a way to properly cleanse it would just mess it up more
Good, more lands for Undeads and less land for red sniffers.

I’d love to see Silvermoon given an update and made part of the Eastern Kingdoms for realsies. The city is gorgeous as is, but could be even more spectacular with the smoke and mirrors replaced with real (and high res) textures and geometry.
To be able to fly above it would be a breathtaking view IMO. Just using Farsight you can see how beautiful the city looks from on high:

I would personally love to see Quel’thelas and the draenei zone that’s name I’m forgetting to be rebuilt and properly placed into their zones instead of instanced inside Outland

Whole region is just called the Azuremyst Isles.

If Quel’thalas and Silvermoon got updated I’d imagine the Azuremyst Isles and The Exodar would as well.
Both deserve it. So much has changed for both races.
I want to say like, a year agoish they hired on a couple more artists who had Silvermoon/belfy assets in their portfolios/artstation accounts and that has me on the hopium we’ll see it in 10.0.

As I spend a great deal of my time on Kyuu in Silvermoon I’d be over the moon if they update it.
