Sap sucks but can be countered in several ways. Also, if you’re sitting a flag, stay at max leap/casting range from the flag. This slows down the rogue and you can hit the rogue once the sap is over before they cap.

Probably because diminishing returns makes it more of a minor inconvenience now vs how it used to be of “welp this is my life now”.

If this was a way of guaranteeing you have an actual understanding of what you’re talking about, people would probably consider it to be relevant.
Since there’s no such guarantee, it’s irrelevant.

Rogues have been nerfed into the dirt in pvp over the years and classes that have insane burst haven’t been touched, deal with that BEFORE shutting down the entirety of rogue pvp game play which is based around long term out playing and hiding your time and setting up windows.
Or let’s focus on sap and let elemental shamans, boomkins, ret paladins, frost dks and several others burst kill players in their 3 second stun window.
Who cares about sap. It’s been there forever, learn how to combat against it, everyone else has.

You know what a rogue is? It’s not Jack sparrow, it’s a stealthy dude creeping around being a pain in the neck to everyone in PVP, too bad. Does things from stealth tell me another class that does that
Well, no class does it because it’s a class specific talent. Yes, let’s remove every class specific talent that you don’t like in PVP so it’ll make the game better.

This reminds me of Warlocks having instant Fear with a cooldown. Blizz, Mandela effect, deleted that out of everyone’s memory. Some Warlock having Fear on instant cast.
“Remember Warlocks instant Fear?”.
“Never happened”.
“Yeah, they had it”.
“Nah. I wouldve remembered because i would have quit the game”.

Insta cast howl of terror was one of the worst decisions I can remember.
That and the MoP era giga-demon imp zerg…
It’s also just another way of saying “lol you’re a kid, probably 14 since that’s the stereotypical age we dunk on.”
Which is of course nonsense. No kids play this game. Its player base is made up 30-45 year olds, most of whom are long timers.
