Ok but i get its more fun, but you cant sit here and tell us that playing the game while making poor choises and resulting in making the content harder for your self means its actually hard.
And this is the issue with not needing to run keys, people don’t get this exposure by default and not many will go back to low keys for this reason, they see their iLVL being 610+ and just assume they have the right to jump into high keys.
We’ve all seen the posts, “High iLVL not being accepted to keys”, some people just don’t care about anything but their own little bubble world and by removing the need for low keys it will only get worse, because now we are going to have to decide between a 200 rated or a 500 rated player for an M9+ knowing either one is a garbage choice.
I’ve been here for 20 years and the only friends list I have are guildies, or ex guildies. I’ve tried adding people to my friends list, but then I forget who is who, or why I added them, and have even at times invited people but had to remove them for reasons.
There is a reason why Blizzard added the LFG system to how it is now, but what they have done certainly does not help.
RIght, but what we are trying to tell you is, they dont. They dont have a harder time if they are putting in any amount of thought to doing a T8 delve.
T8 delves are so incredibly easy to do on any class, if you use even a bit of strategy or effort into it.
The hardest class i can think of to do it on, would be maybe priest or mage? Simpley because priest has low mobility, and mage can be squishy but even then priests make up for it for healing, and mages can CC like a monster.
Part of the problem is there weren’t many who farmed M+16 in DF which are now labeled M+6. So the number really haven’t changed for that difficulty, its just a massive number of players that use to run M0-9 no longer run mythics.
PvP been around since day 1. M+ came out when ion realized that for players who don’t have skills for raids or PvP they could run five man scripted content and shower them with easy loot gains. Enter the token. Pay to win m+

M0 hits monumentally harder with everything in a T8.
The only time oyu die in a T8 is from an over pull, standing in the bad, or not interrupting.
M0 just dumped out a lot of damage, which honestly its a bad comparison because M0 does not even give champ gear.
Difficulty even in M0 is reliant on your team as well, if they screw up, it can kill you.
Maybe, but it let people see the mechanics without having to do them so when they needed to do them they could step back and realise what happened. Low keys how they were, they were definitely a good thing, not just for mechanics, but also because it let people feel like they had somewhere to progress.
Now you just spam delves and call it a day 2 weeks into the expansion, I doubt anyone can honestly say that’s a good thing without arguing “Mah iLVL has never been higher”. Great, but what do we all do now?
Every single person who has spammed delves to 610+ is 100% going to have to jump into M9, heroic last 2 boss, or mythic raid to progress and anyone who has not done normal raid or low keys is going to struggle without some sort of prior experience in the lower difficulties.
You could buy gear and make WoW P2W even back then, there were illegit gold selling sites like Susan Express, long before token existed.
There was a whole story of a rogue that was decked out, in Vanilla.
One day, suddenly they logged in and were playing terribly- a player bought the account from the original owner, and everyone soon found out lol. They got banned.
You could always make WoW a P2W game, if you really wanted to, and as long as people are willing to pay for it.
Just would make it feel hollow to me, personally.
Yeah, mounts and titles are cool n’ all, but they don’t mean much if the player that has them doesn’t actually have the skill to back it up.
They were meant to be trophies of skill, but don’t anymore since people buy carries so often.

They litearlly just had to nerf/fix the machine speakers in Stonevault becuase their abilities would overlap and kill groups because of unavoidable damage.
The current affix can LITERALLY spawn in the water on the last boss of siege resulting in the squid being unkillable.
The crystal boss in Stonevault can kill people.
