Yeah, no, it’s the pve equivalent.
this is the biggest factor. PvP while group effort it still falls on the individuals and their skill sets, and class/spec on top of the boards which wildly varies between seasons and expansions.
and as you stated already CM Dungeons were nothing like this. you just collaborated with 3 dps a tank and healer to get gold in a decent time

Because if you’re an Orc-player, like me, then you want to have a Shadow Council Warlock.
Just make it available for everyone and we’re good.
I mean you can’t have direct one to one, but they’re similar and counterparts to each other similar to r1 in keys and r1 in 3s.
I already explained why people who did them once (probably bought them) don’t deserve them on their alts, and likely won’t get them. It’s less of an discussion and more of an explanation as to how they’re thankfully unlikely to return.

No? I just said that CM sets are kind of the PvE equivelent to elite sets. Do challenge while it’s active, get seasonal gear, etc.

This is what I’m saying:
I don’t pvp, I don’t know a ton about it, but I do read the forums. I know that sometimes a class sucks in pvp, no matter the spec and the boards will be filled with the same combos. So if someone has an elite pvp set from a season that their class sucked, that’s a real trophy to show off.
That prestige doesn’t really apply to CM when the dps, tank and healer combo didn’t matter.

It does, though. Sure, you can build around weak stuff, but the same stuff applies to pvp.

No you don’t. The OP isn’t asking for the sets to come back for everyone, just the people that earned them.
I told people in mop to get the sets they want and everybody said it was a waste of time because they thought they’d be acc-wide. Everybody also thought tcg would be cheaper later.
