really because they did it for WOD, and justified it as such
And who cares if they let people buy the rest of the sets it doesn’t impact your gameplay in any way shape or form. the lengths people are going to, so they can defend this is nothing short of amazing
Again, equality. If I did wod CMs on warrior I’d have all the weapons whereas a mage player would’ve only unlocked a few for their account, thus the token.
Mop people got the set for the class they did them on.
This is how they were different.
Ion said that they’d try to avoid bringing old prestige stuff back. Which is super reassuring to know that it’ll hopefully never be devalued.
Ion has said a lot of things that have also changed. but feel free to keep beating the drum of Ion said tell me how thats worked out for things like pathfinder
thats not a compromise lol. again you have no argument the sets have no value given the absolute boosting market there was for them.
you are just grasping at any modicum of a straw so you can pretend to feel special with your pixels, when in reality this change doesn’t harm you or anyone else with multiple sets
This. Honestly I don’t see the point in being adamantly against it, but those fervently for it should kinda get that Blizzard has made their call- it’s okay for some things to never be available.
No, I don’t think so. unless you feel like citing it some where thats just speaking for the sake of speaking with out any form of a source.
and guess what, This Blizzard is also different than Blizzard of Mists and WoD. if they flipped on a world quest decision in the matter of hours. something Ion said which guess what he has also said things and they have gone and done the opposite of what he’s said anyways will happen.
you’re so adamantinely against something that doesn’t even harm the game, its just sad.
If I do the challenge in mop on my Rogue then I get the Rogue set. If I do it on my Mage then I get the Mage set. In the case of the weapons some clases had an advantage, so they were just fixing that.
Weapons are “Generic”. Similar to, say, the PVP illusions. Reaching 2400 on one char in PVP lets me buy an illusion I can use on all classes, but sets are still class locked because if I earn the Warrior one that doesn’t unlock the other classes, etc.
It just makes no sense to have the original sets become available.
You cannot compare PvP locked content to PvE content its two entirely different mediums of gameplay. two different methodologies, different approaches, its way too different. so of course rewards will be locked because you’re competing and going against other players.
Challenge modes you are working with players together to complete specific requirements in a timed manner.
Huh. You’re right I’m not an rper. But now that you’ve mentioned it, why are you using a staff that you know will “upset” others? You should really only use items that are obtainable instead of making them feel the fomo. Seems to me you’re adding to the issue
I’d actually like to see the CM dungeons come back, similar to how the mage tower came back as I never was able to put together a group to hit those and get the mounts because my guild had basically fallen apart at the start of Panderia and I didn’t really find my way into a solid guild until near the end of the expac.
Well, if we’re being realistic, they’re likely only willing to do what they did with the Mage Tower. They added a recolor of an old set rather than the exact rewards.
I think that there’s a slightly bigger chance they do the “you earned CM set so get the others.” Like unlikely but there’s a shot.
but anyone thinking that like the OG Cm sets will be made for anyone who didn’t even get a single 9/9 cm at the time is well, kidding themselves.
Ehhh I disagree. Even though pvp is a group sport, it’s still an individual’s test of skill. What class/spec is on the top of the boards changes from xpac to xpac or sometimes as short as one season to the next.
Since CM dungeons was any combination of 3 dps, tank and healer, I don’t view it as individualized as pvp.
