No, it’s nothing like that.
The MT was a challenge for your class and spec. MoP/WoD CM was a test of 3 dps, tank and healer. What class combo that make up was was irrelevant.
How is it irrelevant. You do a CM mop dungeon for a particular set of gear for a particular class. You do a particular MT challenge for a particular weapon on said class. Im not talking about difficulty or the group number. I’m talking about content for a set item. We were told what you get, how to get it, and how long you have to get it.
It sucks some people didn’t get all the sets they wanted. I’m in that boat. But it is what it is.
That’s the thing. It’s not “what it is”, it can be brought back anytime they want. I truly stopped caring about gatekeepers because the recent FOMO-returns have shown to us all that these people do not matter. They are an absolute minority who just cry aloud.
Blizzard really needs to bring everything back at this point. New players shouldn’t be punished for being to born too late for playing the game.

Like I said, I have a set. Personally idc if someone gets a 10 year old set now. It doesn’t diminish my achievement and they’re cool sets. I still have the achievement and they can give gold and silver earners a new title or something like they did with warlock green fire.
I’d love to see recolors because the sets are pretty and the one recolor they did do wasn’t personally enough.
That said the topic was never about letting people who didn’t already earn a set get a set
It was about letting people who earned a set get all the others. If OPs suggestion went through unless you earned 9/9 gold once you still wouldn’t get a set.
So if we’re not giving new players the old sets anyway it’d be cooler to see the cms return with new colors and a new set of challenges.
