All my Crits were huge as a two-by-one handed Frost, and I like the option to do so. Remember when Fury Warriors could Two-Hand? Those guys were just as tough as their DW cousins. And besides, Unholy would look cool with two weapons. All that haste, all that speed. Constant, consistent damage.

Frost is the DW spec for DKs. Mage Tower cemented that. If you don’t like DW Frost, man up and play Unholy, switch to Blood or go play a Ret, Arms Warrior or something else.
They aren’t going to take your dumb advice to ruin Unholy so you can use 2H Frost in LFR or whatever content you probably do.

No, they weren’t. In Classic it was Horde specific, requiring Windfury and spamming Hamstring just to bring it close to dual-wielding Fury. It was also heavily reliant on Bonereaver’s Edge in conjunction with Windfury. It was ultimately a cleave niche (not even AoE) and that was it.
It only fell farther in BC.

2h frost was removed because it performed poorly. It also made it difficult to balance between dw and 2h. Stop trying to get 2h back every expac. If you want to use a 2h play unholy or blood.

Frostmourne stole his soul, killing him. Bolvar has had no such events.
Source on losing your soul being a means to die? What about Illidan? Arthas scarred Illidan. He still has his soul. He’s still alive.

Seems like a basic concept that not having your soul means you aren’t exactly a living being anymore.
Although Arthas is marked as [undead] in various sources, it has been confimed by [Chris Metzen] and [Alex Afrasiabi] that actually he never died[[24]] (at least prior to becoming the Lich King and removing his heart). His undead state in Warcraft III may have instead referred to the fact that Frostmourne had stolen his soul.

Of course Arthas didnt die until he became a Death Knight, picking up Frostmourne was that transition and the Lich King was in control over him at that point forward.
Bolvar didnt die, ever. He just wore The Helm of Domination.
Was Arthas slain as in cut down in any way prior to becoming the Lich King? No, but stealing your soul is just as good as dying. Why do you think the demons took measures to protect themselves against Frostmourne?
Bolvar was on deaths doorstep and then the red dragonflight came and changed all of that. Its established lore. Bolvar was never a death knight, went straight from an ever burning living being to the Lich King.
