What I don’t understand is 2 things:

If it doesn’t affect your character and you can simply ignore it, why should it bother you or anyone else? There are no world firsts involved and it has no impact on what gear you might get that day.

If it is completely in line with Blizzards TOS, that should be more binding then anything else considering they own the game as well as all rights to the game and they make the rules for the game. What right does anyone have to tell someone what they are doing is wrong, when the OWNERS of the game have no problems with it as long as it is in game money being used and not real life money.
Personally, I have never done it nor will I ever do it, not because of some morality clause I follow, but I would never spend my money on something like that. I’m a cheapskate shrug

Can’t believe people actually think that works lol good lord.
It’s a multiplayer game, if you don’t care about competitive integrity or fairness good for you. Some people do.
Blizzard suspended people for abusing an xp pot bug and even keep nerfing some ways people found to level up fast, do you really think pay2win is far from that. I’m kinda surprised Blizz didn’t make it illegal to sell those kind of services in game so they can sell them on the shop, like they’re doing with the wowtoken. 
How Blizzard apply their ToS and their ToS is another thing. Technicly muliboxing using a software would be illegal because you’re using a 3rd party software to play the game.
Actually you have the right to tell someone what they are doing is wrong. Why wouldn’t you? It’s another thing if they are right or not.
And what Blizzard think is moral or not isn’t how I base my moral, clearly a souless company got nothing to tell me about that.
less than 0.1% of the people reporting you in game are going to even be on the forums, less than that are going to see this post.
I report every listed group I see, simply because it gets rid of them and I can actually find a group. IDC what you do with your time and gold but I do know using the group finder is against TOS and they started cracking down during Legion, doesn’t seem like it anymore, that or people just have multiples they are posting on. Regardless it gets old digging through WTS in the list. Wish you guys had somewhere else to do it.

Every time I /w one of these service sellers for the price, I find out they want cash outside of the game.

Do you advertise on any server that’s not your active played server? Then it’s actually not allowed, you’re also only allowed to advertise in Trade chat of your server you’re doing said services on. Tbh I’m more tired of seeing the spam than I am about the carries.

It’s allowed but you aren’t supposed to use the group finder, they made that rule towards mid Legion/endish because they were just clogging up the group finder and obviously you aren’t supposed to spam trade.

I don’t mind people selling carries, spamming or selling for real money is another thing. It’s nice to know if you don’t manage to reach your goal in time there’s another option. 
I think carries can be a good catch up mechanic for someone with limited time. I bought a carry once to get that moose mount. I think it’s all part of the game, benefitting those that progressively raid and giving them a bonus for their efforts.
Like I said I’m not against it. Most of the adverts in the group finder are to outside websites that what IRL money for the runs, and they are everywhere.
People have been selling carries since the beginning. As long as you only sell for gold and not cash, there isn’t an issue. If you don’t want a carry or don’t support the trade, don’t do it then. Simple answer.
This being said, it’s still extremely annoying to see people spam trade and LFG with carries.

I just find it funny people here actually feel they have a right to complain about something as stupid as this.
You will never know or meet 99.99999% of these people and you are worried they are getting a carry or might get a mount that you want?
Damn, I know this is the forums but that’s pretty pathetic.
I always figured it was an annoyance thing for why people complain, not jealousy over a mount. It’s annoying trying to talk in trade on some servers when every few seconds someone posts a long paragraph advertising their carry services. And LFG used to be horrible trying to find a group that actually was looking for people and not just a placeholder billboard person.
The problem is that a lot of people that are selling services when you whisper them you find out they are charging real life money

Which is why you report these people with a copy of your chat so that account can be banned.
Now this I understand and agree with. Seeing it once an hour is once thing, seeing it every 5 min gets old.
Just doing your part to help Blizzard peddle gold tokens for profit as ‘content.’

Idk why peoples panties are in a bunch over it. 
However, it does get annoying when someone consistently spams it every chance they can get, which happens at times more than I’d like to see.
