Well IDK if it affects but I report listed groups as advertisment simply because I don’t want them showing up in my dungeon search. As for macro spam I just mute them.

Listed groups for carries, even with gold, isnt allowed. I still get silenced in trade either way lol

If you arent measuring the time between macro spams in minutes (note the plural) then you are asking and deserving to be silenced.
If you are trying to push people to a 3rd party site or expecting actual money then you are breaking TOS and deserve a perma ban(even if you think you are clever and calling it a “donation”).

This is basic, you know how to not spam macros just from advertising your guild. This is not the issue.
There is no RMT happening, this is more about how people who sell carries for gold get harassed just for advertising their service.

Considering how many are trying to scam real money out of people, and the general perception of how “pay to win” affects the health of the game, I think it’s unlikely that you’re going to find much sympathy here. Harassment is never okay, but all we can tell you to do is ignore them and move on with your life.

It was the biggest thing that made me smile when changing to Horde.
Seeing people in general and trade chat discussing selling carries for gold. It honestly brought a tear to my eye. It was like playing an MMO again.
unlike Alliance, where the only people even talking in general chat are selling carries for real world money.

Probably depends how much you spam and where you sell, LFG is a place where you can get banned if you sell there.

Carries are fine, they’ve always been a thing. Getting started however is tough due to no reputation so people dont want to buy. Only ever had 1 person try to cheat me on a carry though - they said their BF had their cash LOL - and usually people who bought were great.
Never had anyone ever rage at me in chat for doing it, but I only advertised when we were doing it and not scheduling for the future.
Anonymity brings out the ugly out of people.
I couldn’t care less and don’t message people who offer services… carries… whatever it is.
Same is when people use trade for expensive items…
No need to harass people… just go on with your own day.
