Seeing a lot of threads and posts dismissing people who don’t care for dragonriding. Let me remind you all that Blizzard said that they would listen to feedback to see if Dragonriding should be carried into new expansions and old zones. The forums is the proper place for feedback.
If you don’t like dragonriding, you should make your opinion known so Blizzard can take into account that there are people that really don’t care for it going into the future.

Half the time its one person and a few of their alts agreeing with them. Check their pet collection and you’ll see. It’s actually a lot fewer people than the whiners like to pretend.

The only people with legitimate complaints are those who suffer from motion sickness and such, and they have accessibility options that can hopefully help with that
Everyone else just refuses to take the 10 seconds it takes to learn the system. It’s actually quite intuitive and very fun once you get the hang of it

Not liking it is fine. Feedback is fine. Especially when it comes to concerns about motion sickness. But I’ve seen multiple in the last 45 minutes that are just outrage. Simply declaring “It’s trash” with no actual details. That really doesn’t add much.

Give it a little bit. I’m sure Dragon Flight will be the worst expansion of WoW ever!

I think Dragonriding is really fun. And I hear it gets even better once you start maxing out your tree.
But it’s not for everyone and I understand that. I do think normal flying should be implemented later on, to allow those people to opt out of Dragonriding.

!000% yes. Even if it’s just to prove they care about past content and wont just make it useless the moment the next x-pac goes live. And it’s just dang fun for enough people to always have it and add to it.
Nope. If you’re really so adamantly against having to put the tiniest amount of effort into travel, you have flight points

no you need flight to get to some points

There is no flight point you cannot reach by pressing 1 4 times
Oh wait I forgot that’s not the default setup on dragonflight abilities…ahem There is no flight point you cannot reach by pressing 2 4 times

I can understand people with motion sickness and there are options for them in the settings to improve the experience but I feel like a lot of the people complaining are just set in their ways and are afraid of change; they fear that if they actually took the short time it takes to learn the system and actually gave it a chance that it would replace old flying mechanics which it most definitely should imo.

As long as the option to stand around in a city waiting for queue exist, they expansion will go over just fine. Any complaints that come up often are more bark then bite.

It should be an option after the first DR quest is done, this way if you do not like it, you do not have to use it. Just make regular flying unable to collect the glyphs, simple.
Instead of forcing DR down everyones throat.
Just saying.

not even that, just press the space bar to jump 4 times
How did that comment work for the past borrowed power systems? You still had to use them, didn’t ya?
It’s totally ok to complain.
Just know your opinion is WRONG.

being unable to strafe in the air is also a valid point, in my opinion. we should be able to do that. these are mounts not gliders
i hate vehicles that can’t strafe because it’s counter to muscle memory and how i play. there’s no good reason it shouldn’t be allowed

Generally, the people that don’t like it just haven’t played with at all, or yet, or haven’t understood how it works.
They get on their dragon, fall off a cliff, glide to the ground and don’t know what’s going on.
They don’t get that they can’t hover or just go straight up.
They don’t understand that you actually have to FLY your dragon, and not just ride it to X destination.
They haven’t unlocked their skill tree yet.
There were dozens of people that complained on beta too, but 99% of them were the above. The rest were legitimate reasons, because of some kind of disability they weren’t ABLE to fly, or it made them feel sick etc… (which is much better now and configurable).
Generally, people that are calling it trash, saying it’s bad, are just not spending the 10 seconds it takes to learn the basics, because they don’t want to.
