It's ok to complain about Dragonriding if you don't like it

About half of the posters on these forums don’t understand this simple concept.

We’re not criticizing the critique, only the manner in which it’s delivered. If folks want to leave feedback, they’re asked to do it constructively. Simply declaring “it’s trash” is only telling us that they’re not worth arguing with.

I mean it works fine on Dragon Isles because the zones were designed around dragon flight, I feel that plays a big part.

Opinions can be good or bad. Simply saying I don’t like this and screaming isn’t going to help. That’s what the majority are doing. Dragon riding should be iterated on and built up to be flying 2.0 and that’s just a simple fact.

Bliz can add more accessibility options and such for the motion sickness crowed (I get motion sickness but never from games) so I’m not saying they should just suffer either. In the end the game can’t make everyone happy.

Complaining is the number 1 enemy in both the American Continent and the entire world.

It’s fine to complain about it, provide you can actually explain why. Something like “it sucks” is just a childish troll response that is unhelpful to getting the root of the problem.

I don’t know why everything is always an either or argument these days - we could have both going forward. There are people that like the new system and those that don’t, just implement both and move on.

Thats a hard NO! Spent way to much on store mounts that fly.

Exactly! Why regular flying is not a choice after the DR quest you can not skip is beyond me.

Thats their legit opinion. You need not “argue” with them.

you dont understand what im saying. if they iterated on it, after dragonflight then you would and should just be able to use any mount that flys to ‘dragonride’

but also if your only gripe to that is because ’ i spent money on money mounts’ then you are kinda goofy.

Servers have been screwy so i’m waiting a bit before i do any questing. But playing as Drakthyr and using their soar was really fun even in its nerfed state so i can feel the potential to be a sidegrade to existing flying.

I understand people with disabilities not liking it but that’s where it should stop. The other people that don’t like it are either too lazy or too stubborn to try something new other than the normal flying mounts we had previously.

Personally, dragon riding is a lot of fun.

I hate that dismounting to engage mobs is a hassle.

This is the main reason why I’ll never purchase this xpac. I don’t have any desire to ride dragons.

Ya once you get glyphs its immediately better.

I think blizz did that on purpose so you don’t accidentally attack something when landing for a recharge or quest turnin. I have my dragon hotkeyed to shift+mouse scroll wheel up. Makes it super easy to mount up.

If anyone needs help getting the glyphs, I’d be willing to get them for you. I obtained them all so I can take you on that journey if you’d like.

The problem is I’m trying to attack things.

Used to be I just pressed by attacks.

Now I look like an idiot walking around the mob.

Honestly I just use normal mounts instead of the Dragonriding one if I don’t need to get up a cliff.

And you can obtain them while following a player with Ride Along enabled.

That’s fine until they start arguing with people who are trying to actually trying to understand why they have that opinion.

They don’t provide much more context beyond “it’s garbage.” That isn’t constructive.

sadly they probably based content for DF around it so it’s likely gonna stay if anything. probably will add regular flying in the future but not rn. with regular flying you’d have slower speed but more control mostly good for gathering.

DR is good when going long distances imo but short distances not so much half the time im trying to pick flowers while getting to my quests

That’s why I offered to help…
