Continuing the discussion from It's ok to complain about Dragonriding if you don't like it:
This has to be said, the forums are mostly a cesspool of hate and complaints, and yes Blizzard said they will listen to feedback and maybe they will if enough people say they don’t like Dragonriding.
But on the same token if no one says they like it, it’s just a one-sided argument at that point. For all topics of discussion we need people on both sides of the argument to post their thoughts to ensure Blizzard get as much feedback as possible.
Yes many people don’t like the new flying, but many people do and I am really enjoying it, mostly.
For anyone who hates it because they are struggling, go spend the time needed to find all your glyphs, it helps a lot, and then just practice, do the dragon riding achievements, have some fun just flying around.
For those who hate it and not just because you cannot get the hang of it, you are just a sourpuss who cannot be made happy, well yeh not much we can do, tell Blizzard, provide feedback, they may improve it or even in the future provide other types of different flying.
Or maybe even some ground mounts that have special effects and stuff, like imagine the Junkheap Drifter having fast speeds like Dragonriding, press your boost and go fast, go downhill to pickup speed, or just ride it like a normal mount.
There are many opportunities for new types of riding that can be brought in, this is just the beginning. But if you are only ever going to be happy with the old style flying, honestly I think the best we can get is flying from day 1 and why not? Why should people who enjoy Dragonriding only get to benefit from it? And why should it be taken away when many like it? But why should those who hate it not have some benefit from day 1 also?
Why not allow older flying from day 1, it might have some benefits over the new flying, but we can also go 830% and that’s fast, faster even than the max speed an FP goes and that’s not really fair to those who either hate or cannot use the new flying.
