where are those customizations for the past races?
I rather have more of that, and more allied races like we did in BFA than one race for two factions
Crap sprinkled with gold is still crap

Stop trying to change the story mid-stream, if this was to be done it needed to be done about a year ago.
It’s in beta, the zones are locked in. Nothing will change, you are just setting yourself up for angst and disappointment
I agree. I just think it is a waste using all that time and effort on races hardly anyone plays beyond making a character and playing it for half an hour just to see the starting area.
Would be so much better if Blizz put all that art and dev budget on creating those kind of customizations for the core races people actually play.
I mean, BFA had terrible allied races, they were just basically the core races with many of them worse customizations, some of them even worse racials.
The zones would not be changed, the only difference would be in the quests there
Literally the most playable/popular allied races were there:
Void elves
Zandalari
Maghar orcs
nightborne
Vulpera
the only fumble is mechagnome
Arguably not true
Oh you sweet sweet summer child…
And Kul’tiran, and Nightborne… really the ONLY part of that list that saw any good PR and play widespread was Void Elves, and obviously boot-leg purple Thalassian sold for obvious reasons…
I know they say there’s no such thing as a wrong opinion, but this isn’t an opinion, it’s an objectively false statement, none of the allied races are at or above even close to their base core race counterparts, half of them roughly less.
You truly do not understand how games are made you sweet summer child
Above gnomes and goblins and pandarens, pretty good for a whacky night elf copy
We also have dark iron dwarf which was pretty good
We got a roughly estimate recently about playable races and most of the allied races, with the exception of diaper gnomes are pretty good
Ok game director Ion Hazzikostas, you know very well
Its not like they just literally changed an entire questline about spitting in Garrosh grave to another one in another place

it’s cute that you still think there’s a faction war. You do know it’s 2025 and not 2005 right?
Tell me again what happen to your alliance character if you go where you shouldnt in silvermoon
Only because Blizzard refuses to de-spaghetti the ancient coding of Vanilla’s faction locks. Simply put the story, and the game, would be far healthier if races weren’t hard-coded into faction membership.
As a GM, I seriously…seriously hate how half-
ed the cross faction guild system is, Really ALL of the guild system, it’s even glitching out every week and removing the guild ad in Guild finder, it wipes the text when closed.
Yeah, only because of that, not because the game is build on ffaction and its part of its identity since forever
The game was healthier before they started doing this neutral crap
So if my Alliance toon tries to cross into a Safe Space for blood elves, I say “Sir. Calm down, I was just looking.” Then he turns red and takes a swing at me saying, “It’s MA’AM!”. It’s just hard to tell with Blood Elves.
I mean, you’ve let me into the Ghostlands, Eversong Woods, and the Amani hunting grounds. How was I supposed to know this one little corner of SMC was a no no?
This race just surpasses all others when it comes to costumisations.
walks in wearing Kabuki makeup and a kimono
Well, that’s the thing.
Haranir are meant to be an in-between nelf and troll.
So, assuming developers wanted to give them animalistic features (with the whole “connected to nature” background), it stands to reason that bats and quilboars would be the ideal choices.
The rp/larp forum is over there →
give me red thicc elf shaman or give me death
With the right costumisations your character can look like: Night elf, Nightborne, Blood elf, High elf, Darkfallen, Zandalari, Amani … maybe I missed someone. ![]()
