Its not too late to scrap half of the Haranir and pair then with the Amani

As a member of the Horde delegation I agree. Give up the Haranir for Amani. Also give us Ogres.

Doomhammer’s Horde is peak Horde.

Thats can easy be fixed with the questline they are already doing, they will not be enemies after its done

They have time and money to do it.

We’ve also killed hundreds of Zandalari and the Zandalari have killed hundreds of Pandaren, yet here we are.
At least the Amani fit aesthetically into the Horde and since the Alliance has done quite a lot of the work against the Amani in order to help the High Elves back then, they’re probably just as upset with the Alliance as they are with today’s blood elves.

Night, I guess. That’s probably the theme for the bat.

Porcupine quills, though… I don’t know. Weren’t there some kind of boar that could shot quills? Maybe back in warcraft 3? Not sure if imagination or actual memory. If that’s the case, then I suppose it makes sense with the tusks and all.

Overall, I guess it’s a combination of concepts. Bat features for nelves and quills/tusks for trolls.

It absolutely is too late.

The inspiration almost certainly comes from Quilboars. It’s not just the bristles, but also the tusks.
As for why anyone thought to create a hybrid with Night Elves… better not to question it.

We are getting Amani. Play a troll and use the amani appearances for darkspear troll. Similarly to how if you want to play a High Elf, you play a Blood-/Void Elf or a Night Elf mage, if you want to be a Wildhammer you play as a dwarf and pick the associated tattoos, and so on.

Allied races are for when they want to do something new but use an already existing foundation. Amani trolls are literally just more buff trolls … and that’s it.

If you’d want something more realistic, ask for additional body type options for Darkspear Trolls and you’d get closer the Amani troll you’d want.

Play a Kul’Tiran.

We arent and you said yourself:

the amani are the bulky big ones.

Every thread a high elf fanboy weirdo comes to say nonsense and try to make the thread about then

Open your eyes, the amani are PHYSICALLY different from the your other examples

Then the amani is literally what allied race are made for then, something new using existing foundation

Am I scrapping their legs, upper body, half n half? Are we left with like…half a Haranir down the middle? One leg and one arm and half a head?

It is too late. It is way too late. In fact it is probably too late to make that kind of change in “Last Titan” because the development of that expansion is probably too far along for those types of changes.

You make those decisions during the design phase of a new software version which comes before you start coding, not after. And certainly not during beta test.

So I’m gonna go ahead and bounce out of this conversation since blizzard is definitely not doing whatever it is you’re asking for. I’ll just go on about my day. your idea is bad and when they release the next Allied race for both sides I hope it’s the Amani trolls.

You guys need to stop accepting mediocrity and thinking they cant work on the game better

Blizzard is not an indie company

and you should stop trying to segregate the factions

It is almost like more words than just the selective few you picked out were said.

First of all, I provided an example that is virtually identical to the whole thing about “Give us Amani trolls” when Amani trolls are literally just more muscular. There’s not much if any difference beyond that.

Secondly, this is why I pointed out that asking for an additional body type would likely get you closer to what you’d want … and is more realistic.

Try reading what someone is saying rather than just throwing around insults. Right now you are behaving exactly like the folks who keep asking for high elves despite them being in the game already.

We are getting Amani in the way of customization options. Exactly the same way as the examples I provided. But I also added that if you wanted to advocate for something that would get them closer to what you’d want them to look like, then your best option would be to ask for more body type options.

cool bro

My idea is better than what blizzard did but you do you.

Say my idea is bad but want trolls for the alliance

:dracthyr_lulmao:

LMAO

sorry but that the funniest crap i heard all month

“dont segregate the factions”

dont segreate the TWO SEGRGATED AND ENEMY FACTIONS THAT THE ENTIRE GAME WAS BUILD UPON"

Its almost lie you were wrong, got corrected and still cant realize it

You didnt

The amani are equal to zandalari, and zandalari became an allied race and not a customisation

they do not equal to your examples.

Right back at you bub

Stopping a development effort near the end and changing direction is not “working on the game better”. Every software project that I have ever worked on that didn’t stick to their original plan, and kept changing direction, turned into a disaster.

It’s like building a sky scraper. Do you change the blue print half way through or near the end and make changes to what you are building?

You dont rly need to full on stop, just tweak their starting zone to include only the alliance

And tweak the amani zone to include they joining the faction

we are not going to make a new expansion, just fixing minor stuff

Honestly, it’s amusing that two of three something races released so far have better customizations than those launched in BFA and prior and people still call it… “mediocrity”, is it unoriginal? Sure, but outside of Earthen I wouldn’t call either Dracthyr or Haranir “mediocre”, well Dracthyr are kinda uggo except for the copy paste Elf/Human forms, but even the Visages have better customizations than base races core races. Trying to reduce some of the best quality to date we’ve gotten as “mediocre” is just kinda misguided thinking.

The weird half orc half troll model is an abomination that’s for sure.
